Weekly Cross Stitch Update

It looks as though I did quite a bit this week.

Last week:

This week:
I took it off the frame as I was struggling to do the leaves on the top corner.  There is another border to go around the leaves.  The majority of the back stitch is done; it's mainly just around the vines.  I will then do the bottom three rows.  I love the toadstool block is just pops.

Still enjoying doing it, but will admit I am itching to get started on one of the kits from the UK.😁

How have you got on with your crafting this week?

I bought a Dremel tool to start working on making things from the expensive plate I broke. It was so expensive I now have to break plates to make money back that I spent on the Dremel.

That is looking SO good. When it is finished and made up into a game, will it be in a frame under glass/acrylic to keep it clean? I finished my March stitching for my collaborative piece, and posted it off to Sussex, then darned the jeans my daughter has passed on.

I'm amazed at how quickly you've done this! It's definitely a piece worth framing and on the wall. It's fun to look at all the little squares to see all the details.
As for me, The Quilt top is finally finished and it's off to the longarmer tomorrow, plus I had enough leftovers to make a couple of throw pillows. Now it's on to the last big UFO that's been making me feel guilty for far too long.

You did a lot more work on the cross stitch this week.
I am doing a collage of those mushrooms, mine pop too.

Cheers.

Loving that pattern.

I started back doing some embroidery as the sun is shining, got one pair of mittens knit and am working on the second pair. Hopefully the knitting goes slightly faster, just have to get used to knitting very small mittens again.

God bless.
