Oh no. Bad idea. Very bad. I don’t watch the news any more.
It literally makes me feel sick. If there is something very important it will flash up on the news flashes.
Get on YouTube and watch some crazy cat videos. That will make you feel better
It really is. I prefer to live in blissful ignorance nowadays or I'd despair. xx
I rarely listen to the news anymore. I see the headlines on the internet and that's quite enough for me. I've battled depression in the past so I know better than to dwell on all the bad in the world.
What's presented as news really isn't. Important issues don't get attention, just lurid drama for clicks and $$. I catch the headlines, done.
I get my news via the newspapers. You get the information that's needed with objective distance.
It is so depressing, and it doesn't help when a certain U.S. TV channel has to repeat all the news umpteen times within an hour, then the next program does the same thing. Don't watch it any more.
Give me a British comedy anytime.
I now try my hardest not to listen or watch the news, but sometimes that is impossible.
God bless.
