Which one is it?

After looking at that picture, I have the cold/flu, I think?  It's been a while since I have been ill, so this has caught me off guard.  We had nothing in the house, so on Monday I went to Wal Mart to stock up on supplies. Then came home and collapsed into my chair.  Mind you plenty of fluid and gargling with warm salt water is as good as anything I think.

I firmly put the blame on my youngest grandchild though (😁) as he is in daycare and has always got a green and snotty nose.  You would have thought though I would have built up plenty immunity after all this time!!

I had the flu vaccination, so that's a blessing I guess.  I have tested for covid and I'm negative, so I guess I just have to wait until it all passes?

Have you had a cold/flu this season?

Rest and plenty of fluids is the best
Yes grandchildren always bring all the germs home from daycare.
It’s lovely they love us so much they want to share

Yes, I had a couple before Christmas, with a week in between. They were not nice but not Covid either and they took a while to throw off, especially the tiredness. All fine now though.
Take care, be kind to yourself and sending healing vibes - catch! xx

I can't honestly remember the last time I had a cold, must be at least 4 years but yes, small children are a haven for germs! If I feel a bit under the weather I swear by ginger tea and extra vitamin C. Seems to do the trick more times than not.

Hope you feel better soon

Hopefully you don't have the RSV virus - it's been going around and is quite nasty. Have to love little kids and their ability to spread things around. When our kids were in school you could count on them coming home sick by the second week in September and then it was continual until the end of the school year. Of course they weren't happy unless they wore us down too.
Hope you feel better soon - take care of you!

Going for over 18 months without catching anything to suddenly succumbing to a virus was quite a shock for me, I mean a slight sniffle would be acceptable but the current round of viruses really seem to knock you out (far worse than when I caught Covid). I suppose our immune systems all went on vacation during the various social distancing measures and now it’s payback time.

Hi, Gill. I hope this finds you on the mend soon. I had COVID in October, but have been mostly illness free since I've been wearing a mask. I don't think it matters, but it can take several COVID tests before you test positive, even with symptoms.

Me too, I had it before Christmas and felt really yukky. It took a couple of weeks to clear through me. Hope yours is quicker. XXXXX

I had a e;evated temperature for four weeks and am now on antibiotics, feeling miserable. I have horrendous sinus infections, always have.

I cannot remember the last time I had a cold or the flu.
When I do get the "bug", I swear by honey in in either hot water or hot orange juice, plenty of other fluids and rest.
Hope you are feeling better soon.

I had covid in April. It consisted of a deep cough.

Feel better soon, Gill. These things can really take time to recover from. Have lots of tea/hot drinks, naps and rest. Wish I was closer, I'd pop over some homemade soup. xo
