Heavenly Hollyhocks dancing in the wind.......

I must say that title is quite poetic for me isn't it?

Heavenly Hollyhock is the name of the material below, if you don't believe me, look at the bottom of the photo. I got a couple metres of this material a few weeks ago and never got around to washing it; as you know my rule is, don't put it away until it has been washed. So on Thursday is was a lovely day, so I hand washed it and hung it on the line to dry. It was blowing a gale force wind, so it dried in no time, and I took a couple of photos of it blowing/dancing in the wind. By the way no idea what I am going to make with the material yet.

(as always for more detail click on the photos)

I then took a couple photos of the trees across the way, as they are starting to change colour.

It will probably be another couple of weeks before we see the full Fall colours.
I went to the genealogy session on Thursday afternoon and garnered some good information. I will post more about it in the days to come.

Very pretty fabric -- flowers and lavender.

It's ALL so pretty.

Winds blew in here with force last night. We scarcely have enough trees to change color! Miss the hills. Thanks for sharing all your pictures.

Those hollyhocks look suspiciously like morning glories. The photos of them blowing in the wind is great.

I so love hollyhocks. Not sure why!
I cannot seem to grow them here. I'd love a spot with land for gardnes, but cannot transport the lake!!!
