Well Shane MacGowan has passed away at the age of 65. Honestly I am shocked he lived as long as he did. He had a very "active" life with the drink and drugs. Such a shame. Love this song, one of my favourite Christmas songs.
Rest in peace Shane, and hopefully you're out of pain and at peace.
