I really had to think about this, as I was torn between 4 & 3. I ended up choosing 4 as I love all that counter space and the light that is coming into the kitchen. I would have chosen #3, but those plants above the cupboards would get on my nerves, as they would be a dust trap. Mind you the open shelves in #4 will be dust traps as well.
I would then have #1 in 3rd place, it's just a bit "kitschy" for me, and I think that that all blue and pick would get to me after a bit. Then finally #2 as it's too dark for me.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts?

I would pick none of them because they do not have that magic work triangle between counter fridge and stove. I am always a function over form person. If I am looking at color schemes only I would pick 4. I live with some open shelving and love it.

Probably #4 because of all the light.

I was like you torn between three and four. I decided four because it’s so bright and light
I’ve always wanted a huge kitchen where the family gathers and we eat, drink and laugh
I looked at the pictures BEFORE I read your words. And came to exactly the same conclusions. But I love my kitchen, which is tiny in comparison. And the dining table is in an adjacent room - there's nowhere to sit and eat in the kitchen. I don't like #1 - too Barbie/LOL dolls! #2 - too dark. But it's fun to dream...
It was a cross between #1 and #4 but #4 won out. I like how bright and airy it is and all that counter space is lovely. I do like #1 but I think you might tire of those colours quickly. Elaine (in Toronto)
I had no problem choosing a kitchen, #4 it is for me. It looks very clean, fresh & OH all those windows for natural light.
I would pick 4. I love the counter space and all of the windows.
I think I would go for #4 primarily because of the island seating, although I do like the darker cabinets in the other one. I would most definitely, decidedly, never go for #1 because it's pink and I hate pink. I would immediately think Pepto Bismol every time I walked into it.
#4 in 1st place, all the counter space and windows won me over. But, then thought those windows need cleaning, hire someone to do it.
2nd place is #3 I like the plants
3rd place #2 too dark
4th place #1 just --no
Definitely number 4. So bright and all that counter space!

I immediately went to number 4. As you said, I too, had a minute where I thought maybe 3. But I love the light of the room, the immense counter space, and the storage.
So I'd opt for number 4.
I think they are all horribly designed. You would be exhausted cooking a meal in those kitchens. Based on aesthetics, though, I would pick 2. I don't understand the neutral gray, industrial look everyone seems to love now, nor do I like open shelving. 2, although it looks dark, seems warmer. The pink and blue would give me a headache, and 3 and 4 are just too trendy/mid-century modern. Also, I despise houseplants.
#4 doe the light and counter space!
I would chose #4 for the same reasons as the others who chose it.
God bless.
Probably 4. I like the light and there aren't as many plants as #3. I tend to kill them lol.
