Enjoyed reading your journal Gill. You have a lovely way of writing and it flows so beautifully. I can see that there's another English girl out there that can't stand humidity. Picture this, 32 years ago, first summer in States, didn't know what had hit me, spent most of time lying prostrate in front of tiny window air-conditioner in apartment!!! 32 years have passed by and our summers still affect me like that first one - lol.
we must be twins Denise, as I am exactly the same. I also have this invisable sign on my forehead which says "eat me" that only mosquito's can see.....I keep saying to everyone, there must be better British blood out there to eat after 19 years, but no they keep coming for me...LOL
Oh my goodness we have mosquitos in common too? Gregg is always safe when I am around - not that he has ever had a problem with them. I attract them in droves and the bites, absolutely itching from head to foot at times. Roll on this weekend down in VA Beach. They are as big as horse flies down there. Whoopeeeeee!!!!!!!!!
