Hi Gill, just found your blog today. Didn't have enough time to read everything but I will be back.
My hobbies are quilting, travel, and gardening. I love in S. W. Ontario.

My comment got lost!!! Anyway - I have a request - I am starting up our own food blog and would like to put a link to yours (along side Jamie Oliver/Food Network Canada/The River Cottage etc) - is that ok? I love your 50+1 recipes and think others will too!! Let me know if it's ok with you

Your blog is nice! I am glad I found it. I know what you mean about people not commenting. I like to know who is reading my blog :)

Got your note on spreadsheets. My DH is really good with them. We bought both our cars using spreadsheets -- didn't even test drive them! He just researches everything and figures and figures. Did our last house hunt with spreadsheets. He's a whiz, but I just fake it.

I know daisies are weeds but I love it when our lawn is full of them in summer! All the serious gardeners spend hours trying to get rid of them, not me! XXX

I love your single wild Marguerite amongst all the grasses.

The humble English daisy! I so miss them. In fact a few years ago I purchased a very realistic 'figurine' of a blackbird, along with some daisies and buttercups. Who would have thought these so commonplace things would be missed by me so much.

By the way, your appeal for comments has now brought you a lot of work! Still, it's fun work.

Greetings from Australia
I was reading your comment on "comments" - yes, comment envy is something easily understood. (Sigh). So, I am leaving a comment here for you.:-) Your little white daisy is lovely in the green grass - plain and simple and just as good as the fancy hot-house beuties.
Enjoy your day.
Cheers.

Hi Gill, lovely photo here. The simplicity of the daisy is what makes it so beautiful and the grass behind it really makes it stand out.
