Today's Flower

One thing I am seeing popping their heads through the soil are the irises, so I know I will be guaranteed some colour in the garden this year.  This is a taster of what they will look like in a few months time.

This is a lovely photo Gill! And are those chives in the background? My mom always had chives in her gardens up until our last move, they're so amazing when they're fresh.

That iris is just standing out amongst other blooms! I give credit placing those purple like pom poms in the background!

Have a blessed Sunday!

I love Iris and have them coming up in several odd places that I would not have put them, but I enjoy them wherever they come up! Enjoy your Sunday Gill!!

Oh, the tall beardeds are so wonderful. Our local iris society is having its show in two weeks. Can't wait to go see. Believe it or not, iris do extremely well in our arid climate and they are perfect for gardeners like me - those that don't need any challenges!

I haven't seen flowers yet, although the green looks a bit greener than last week. Takes time to wake up mother nature...
