Goosebumps

Hubby was watching British Football/Soccer on the tv on the weekend.  In one game Liverpool was playing and for once the announcers shut up while they played Liverpool's anthem.  It gives me goosebumps every time.

This was the song (Gerry & The Pacemakers version) that hubby and daughter danced too at her wedding.  Great memories.

One day I would love to take hubby to see a Liverpool game.  I had planned on doing a side trip to Liverpool next time we went to the UK....one day!

I hope you get to Liverpool before too long... With hope in your heart, as the song says

I adored that song when Gerry and the Pacemakers released it in the sixties (I loved Ferry Cross the Mersey too) and always look forward to it if I see Carousel. A beautiful song.

I stood on the Kop many a time as a teenager in the late 70s, singing You'll Never Walk Alone, with my scarf held aloft.Wonderful times watching Kenny Dalglish and the rest of the team.
