Afternoon Treat

I have a sweet tooth.  I love cake, cookies, muffins, candy & chocolate.  However with being a diabetic I have to watch what I eat.

One way of getting around that sugar craving mid afternoon is to have a cup of this:

I know it has 7g of sugar but in the scheme of things I can live with that.
A steaming cup of coffee to sip on while reading my book!

What is your afternoon treat?

I have a nice piece of fruit round four thirty usually. It tides me over until dinner time.

A cup of black coffee with 2-3 pieces of dark chocolate. They say dark chocolate is good for your heart and I have decided to believe that. Haha!

It depends, sometimes it is a handful of nuts, sometimes a cold glass of orange juice. Then sometimes I just have to have a small bowl of something salty (chips, cheezies).

God bless.

My afternoon treat is a London Fog .. my daughter introduced me to them when she was a barista. I now make my own rather than dishing out the big bucks. I am also a diabetic so need to watch my intake.

I too have a real sweet tooth - but - since I'm trying to lose weight then a small latte with a tiny bit of sugar helps me to get through the afternoon.

I dislike coffee. I go for tea.

My eating habits are changing, the meals come at any time. A late breakfast means a late lunch so there isn't much time between that and evening dinner. I take it day by day, there isn't any pattern.

I love these 'special coffees' and keep a variety on hand, I love the Mocha one but also keep some skinny ones in too, although I've never checked the sugar content, I'll have to check next time i indulge
