Snow, snow, and more bloody snow!!

My apologies for the strong language but I am not happy!!  I had to plough the driveway twice on Saturday and the second time is was the wet heavy snow.  The weather man forecast light snow/flurries of up to 4cm.  Light snow my behind, we must have got another six inches of the bloody stuff.  It did stop in the early afternoon and did get above freezing, so melted a lot on the decks, but even so.  Hopefully this is the last snow storm for this winter (as I touch wood when I say that), however I don't think so, March can be a nasty month; and remember that saying:

"March in like a lion, out like a lamb"

The forecast for Monday is variable cloud's, with a possibilty of 1 cm of snow and temperature around the freezing mark, to me that is more lamb like than lion like don't you think?

I took some photos of the snow coming down.  It all looks very picturesque, but roll on Spring.......

My dear friend Leiani has decided to start a blog.  She has a great family and I love the way she writes.  Please pop by to say hello and welcome her to blogland, here is the link to her blog.

It's the last day of February, did you remember to put your money in your Daily Savings Pot?  I have $75 in my pot......how I have no idea, but I do.  If you're not sure what I am talking about check out this link

Today's Money Saving Tip:

Hide your credit cards. Take your credit cards and put them in a safe place in your home, not in your wallet where it’s easy to spend them. If you argue that you need it for “emergencies,” just be sure to keep a small amount of cash hidden in your wallet for these emergencies. Don’t keep plastic on you until you have the willpower to not use it even when you’re sorely tempted.

The weather is the same in the National Capital Region. Lots of wet heavy snow to clear, and cursing going on when the snow plow goes by and leaves a fresh row of it at the end of the driveway.

Like you mention, it warmed up enough to melt some of it away, but not enough. Yes, there is surely more to come. At least one more deluge of snow.

I love your header photo of Molly. So sweet : )

Hubby told me they have had snow in May here! He shouldn't have told me that.

Liz, snow in the forecast for Sunday night!

Great to find another Brit even if you have defected!
Umm, if that's strong language - tread carefully on my blogs LOL.

Weather much the same in UK in Scotland but nice and mild down here in Devon.
Long may it last.

now that photo of Molly is just too adorable !
I can not comprehend snow like that - I've never seen it. We crave snow where you are fed up with it !
I wish I had faith so I could go to Church - I would go to a Church without the religion if I could. I know that sounds mad !

Ah, yes; tons of snow in Ontari-ari-ario. Lots of it out here, too; but it's starting to melt. Our high for today is supposed to be -2°C. But we've already got a "hangover," (which I've described in my blog).

P.S.: My second eye surgery went fairly well; at least I can see to blog, now.

I hoping for in like a lamb. That lat storm just keep going, going, and going. Since we made it this far I am sure spring will be here soon.

Love the header photo!

It's all slush out here and melting away. If temps reach freezing overnight the corners of every sidewalk are thick ice in the mornings from the puddles that are pooling there. I've been like a teenager walking on the road for fear of falling!

The stuff coming down yesterday was so wet it left pockmarks in the snow like rain would!

On the bright side, I have lots of green poking up from the warmest garden beds and even some new green on some mums I planted last fall which I was unsure were hardy! Guess they are!

Well, even if snow does get to be more and more of a pain as Winter drags on, at least it makes for lovely pictures :o)

Love the photo of Molly! Adorable... My boys saw your photos of the snow and want to come visit to build snowmen and go sledding. At the moment we would gladly swap our heatwave (past 3 weeks all over 35 degrees C) for a day in the snow. And many thanks for the mention of and link to my blog. Glad you like it!

Tuesday was a mixed bag type of day. Had the appliance repair guy come again to install another circuit board in the fridge.  When hubby got...
