One year today.........

we moved into this house.  We love the house, and if it were on five or ten acres in the countryside it would be perfect.........

Anyway I made a start on painting the doors and believe me there are many.  I am hoping you can see the difference in the colours, as there is a major difference believe me.  This is just the first coat.
That's the front closet doors, first coat done.
Another job I did get done was post reviews for all the books below here.  "A Perfect Ambition," was a great book, can't wait until the next in the series comes out.  Totally different subject to what I normally read.
I just have to remember walk don't run with painting all the doors and trim:

Painting is hard but, isn't it also very satisfying once you are done? Have fun with it and please do not overexert yourself. Take care...

I've listened to, and liked, that song for years but didn't know it's name until now, lol.

Things are already looking brighter with your white closet doors. =)

The doors look great. You definitely don't realize how many doors you have until you go to paint them! I think we have something like 20 in our house. Enjoy your painting.

That's a huge difference. It will be so much brighter!
A Perfect Ambition sounds good. I'll keep a look out for it.

Definitely can see a difference! It will look great. Congrats on your one year 'anniversary'. I will have to check out the books, always looking for more good reads.

Oh, I totally understand about doors! I painted all of ours in our home and we've got plenty, as well. 14 of them! Painting is a simple job that makes such a huge difference.

I was washing down the bathroom door this morning and thinking that past a certain point, they just need to be painted again; so I hope to emulate you during the summer ! xx

I hate painting ! probably because I'm no good at it. No matter how I try and how much time I take I always produce smears, streaks and missed bits - your painting looks very professional.

Yes, I can see the difference. It's going to look great. I want to do some painting around our house too, beginning with the kitchen table. We've had it for years and it just needs to be redone. Don't work too hard! :-
Blessings,
Betsy

You have been busy, I'm not a fan of painting doors, tend to let hubby do that one. It does look lovely and fresh though xx

Everything will look super once you finish the painting! LOTS of work, though.

Happy first house anniversary, Gill! Isn't it mind-boggling the many shades of whites that exist!
