was pooped yesterday when I got home from work. I had a terrible headache and the drive home was miserable with the rain and the fog. So after supper other than doing a load of laundry I sat down in front of the tv and just vegged out.
Molly let me sleep until after 6:30am this morning, so I feel a bit better, plus my headache has gone.
Have a few things to do today and one of them is to go into town to get my hair cut. The girl who cut it last time did a poor job and I don't like it. It's my own fault, as I refuse to pay full price at a regular hairdressers and go to a discount chain place, so I guess its a case of you get what you pay for. Anyhow one side of my hair is pouffy and it is driving me potty.
While in town though I have to get gas for the car and call in at an upholstery place to see about getting the window seat cushion made, as I want it all piped etc, and I know I am not skilled enough to do a professional looking job.
The daily poll question on Swagbucks this morning, was will you be watching the Royal Wedding. Now this is a USA based company and 50% of the people answered no. I find the people in the States are not "into" the Royal family as much as we are in Canada, which I find interesting. I of course will be up at the crack of dawn to watch it. I am thinking around 4:30 am will be soon enough. Not sure which channel though will be the best coverage? Any ideas?
I am a British born, living in Canada since May of 1989. My blog is about all aspects of my daily life.

I think I will be channel surfing...I don't know which will offer the best coverage, but I am looking forward to it!!!
Im not into the Royal Wedding at all to be honest... I know a few that are die hard "fans" though! lol! I'm sure that there will be PLENTY of coverage on most channels!
According to the media the Americans are really for the wedding but you kow what the media is like for exaggeration. Quite a few have come over here to join the watching crowds but those few don't make a whole country, do they? Hope you're feeling better today.
I think I saw that Vision TV was going to be commercial free.
I'd got with CBC if I were you and if you don't like it, give CTV a try, but CBC is very used to broadcasting Royal Weddings, they haven't missed one yet...at least not since they've been televised!
Nice to veg out now and then huh?
Have a great day!

I though me & John G were the only ones in blog land that are going to watch the RW!!! Thank goodness you are, I'm really looking forward to it. xxx
I'm so looking forward to the Royal Wedding that I took the day off work. I will be up early with tea and crumpets and plan on being very cozy on the couch.
We have pubs here that are offering a champagne breakfast and to watch the wedding on a big screen.
It is really a big deal here right now, and of course they will be visiting this Summer.
I can't wait.
Breakfast television on CItyTv is starting coverage at 5am.
I will prob watch some of it but not all.
I have to admit that I took the day off to get up early and watch the wedding. I asked patients this week if they were, and many said no...I think they are secretly going to!
I will be spending the day with my British friends glued in front of the TV. We're not meeting up until ten but I will probably put the TV on as soon as I get up. We have a lot of Americans in our area very interested in the Royal Wedding, some having afternoon teas and putting on fancy hats. It's in all the news. Maybe that 50 percent you talked about is here in Virginia :)
Well, I have done said I didn't watch...but it isn't just that they are British...I just am not one for reading about or watching famous people...I would not watch if it was the president's daughter...and of all the singers and actors, etc that I really like, I wouldn't give two cents to meet 99% of them in person.
