Our children call me MOM, but when I am telling the girls something about their mother I will say MAM.
I don't pronounce it "MARM," like what you would say to the Queen, it's strictly MAM.

I thought the Queen was properly addressed as Mam too. (mam like Jam, not ma'am like harm). My kids call me Mum, and Mother! when they're mad at me.
I call my mom Anne (Pronuounced like ah-ne but not quiet), most of the time, when I want to call her mommy, I call her annecigim (ah-nejeem). If I want to call her with a TONE in my voice, I don't, because it would be futile.
We say Mom too and my girls call me mom, to the grandchildren I say Momma.
I use mom as well as the kids
I used MUM. My children also call me MUM and also write MUM in b-day cards etc.
Mum but when i leave after a visit or end of a phone call its always love you mummy . Mum always says mee too darlin. Jacx
I called my mother Mum to her face, but to others, including my siblings, I referred to her by her first name. It caught on, and my siblings all did the same. Initially I started doing it to show disrespect, but as I grew older, it made sense. My parents were so much more than just our parents. They were ahead of their times, heck, they were ahead of our times now. They were far more than our parents, and the first name referral made sense, given the many, many lives they touched and good they did.
I am simply "Mom" to my kids. No idea what they call me behind my back.
I always used Mom with my mother.
We called our mother Mum. My son calls me Momma Karen, three of the girls call me Mom and the fourth calls me Mother most of the time, haha.
We all called her mommy....my kids call me mom.
