More soup bowl cozies

Made a couple of soup bowl cozies for a quick gift the other day.

Two fat quarters or two 10 " x 20 " pieces of fabric and four pieces of batting 10 " x 10" and thread is all you need to make these.  The full instructions are on this blog post.

The photos below are all soup bowl cozies I have made in the past.

I generally make them in pairs as they are reversible.  The can be put in the microwave and are fully washable.  I don't throw them in the dryer though.

My friend calls these "porridge cosies" and her family hold their bowls of microwaved oatmeal in them at breakfast

Thank you for the link to the instructions. I am going to make some for me. This past winter I would serve soup at the stove then nearly fry my hands taking the bowls to the table

I really like my soup bowl cosies. I use them lots.

I made some for one of our sons a couple of Christmas's ago and plan on making some for our other son this Christmas.

God bless.
