I think it is just automatic - I had a post ages ago that attracted spam and when I deleted it, the next post got it too. You could try using one of those ID thingies before people can post a comment. That stopped mine from arriving in my blog.

They tend to spam a post I did some years ago a lot- a post which is about lilac trees blooming on Parliament Hill.
My spam bots love my 'fairy garden' post.. no that is not a euphemism for something else...:-)
