Not at all happy

with the election results, nothing has changed basically for any of the parties.  It was a total waste of $600 + million dollars, and who has to pay for it....us!!  It wouldn't be so bad, but we are going to be doing it again in another 18 - 24 months.  Does Mr. Trudeau think that money grows on trees?  If it were a private business where you are held accountable for what you spend none of this would have happened.  Okay, stepping off my high horse now😏

Was waiting for hubby in the truck while he was getting gas and noticed this little guy.  There is a wooded area behind the gas station, so he must have come from there.  He must be quite tame, as it is a busy gas station.  Once he got on top of the garbage bin he just sat there watching me.

Gas prices were running at $1.34 per litre where we live in Southern Ontario.  I was thinking back to last year when it was under $1 pre litre.  Like everything else it's gone up in price.

Garden/people/dog watching while walking...

I have to say when walking around the subdivision there is plenty to see.  I enjoy looking at other people's gardens seeing what they are doing, or in some cases NOT DOING!!!  I am always confused as too why people live in houses and do no gardening what so ever!! Why not live in a condo or apartment where you don't have a garden to look after?

One house I go past has grass that is knee high.  I saw the other day they had finally cut it, but what a mess.  You can tell the lawn mower was struggling and it chopped the grass all up.  Just looked like a bad haircut.

I tend to go walking first thing in the morning.  I try to beat the heat.  It seems we have rabbits galore around here.  Some are even verging on to being quite tame.  We have a number of woods around so plenty of birds.

There are a lot of dogs and their owners.  I am still wary of the smaller dogs, but have made friends with a number of the bigger dogs.  One huge boy is so friendly and was a rescue and couldn't be more friendlier if he tried.

There are a number of people who walk, but not as many as where we used to live.  On Thursday morning I was laughing to myself, as Thursday is garbage day.  It was Canada Day on Monday so garbage pick up is a day later this week; on Friday.  It was crazy how many people had put their garbage out.  I guess people just forgot this week?

I walk two to three times around the subdivision, takes me around 50 to 55 minutes to walk three times around and I do around 6,500 steps.  I walk up a steep hill three times.  By the time I have done that three times I am pooped!!!

I am trying to walk 10,000 steps a day again!!

Squirrel Appreciation Day Today

Who knew there was such a day?  You can read all about it here.

The following information was put on our local Wild Birds Unlimited Facebook page:

"In an hour’s time, a squirrel can collect and bury 25 nuts. Unable to remember each nut’s location, they find them again by using a highly developed sense of smell."
"The Gray Squirrel uses its tail as a shield when fighting, as a blanket in cold weather, and, sometimes, as an umbrella during rain storms."

"The Gray Squirrel stocks its winter pantry by burying up to 10,000 nuts each fall. It also feeds on grapes, fungi, grasses, larval and adult insects, and amphibians."

We see more black squirrels then gray ones where we live.  I like to watch squirrels and don't think they are a pest like some people do.

By the way it's National Hugging Day and Granola Bar Day as well.

So eat a granola bar, give someone a hug and watch a squirrel scurrying about!!  Enjoy your Sunday.

They came to say goodbye...........

When I went to put out the garbage at the front this morning, there were two deer in our front yard.  I don't know who was more surprised, me or them.  They of course ran away, but then one of them came back and was wandering around the back and field area.

Please excuse the state of the grass, only the bits close to the house are getting cut!!!

Heading out to drop off some more things at the charity shop.  I am actually giving away my records, cassette tapes (music) and record player.  Plus all the VCR videos, as we don't have a VCR player anymore.  That is three big boxes of things not to have to move.  All have never been out of their boxes in years, so it's time to go.

Sick to death of tripping over boxes everywhere in the house.  However I feel as though I am 85% packed.  The last little bit is all last minute stuff.

Nice of the deer though to pop by and say goodbye, don't you think?

Busy, busy, busy

Life is busy around here at the moment, so I thought I'd pop in and fill you in on what has been and is going on.

The folk that bought the house had their walk through on Sunday afternoon, so the house got a good clean through before they arrived so that was good.  At least it got me ahead of the game for the week.  Haven't heard anything back about their visit, so assuming they were all happy, happy with everything?

Not sure if you remember when we were being attacked by a very amorous Red Cardinal last year?  Well this year we have a woodpecker who sounds like a jack hammer on our roof.  I have to keep chasing it; it's driving me potty!!!

Got our new bed delivered on Monday:

It's a beige linen material with antique bronze nail heads.  I have to tuck in the coverlet now though to make it look right.

Had a mammogram on Monday and I'll say what I always say,

"A man must have invented that machine!!"

Haven't been around by the new house since Saturday.  They have been doing the tiling.  The neighbours above us are moving in tomorrow; wish it were us.  Picked up some more bits and bobs for the house, will have to take some photos.

Narrowed down the choice of drapes from the bedroom; going to go with the Ashton ones from Bed, Bath and Beyond:

At work on Wednesday, so will be back on Thursday.

Some days you wonder what you're going to see next!!

Saw this the other day while driving to Gatlinburg!!  It's a motorized version of a red wagon, very neat.  I took the photos as we were passing in the car.  Had hoped they would stop at Sugarlands, but they went on through.

What a neat thing to travel in on a lovely day.  Not good for your hair though.

When we went to Gatlinburg the other day for the Arts and Crafts Trail we stopped at a restaurant.  There was a cart outside and the roof was really interesting with all the moss on top of it.  Shame it had artificial flowers in the middle of the cart.  Also won't mention the name of the restaurant (though look closely at the cart!!) as we did not enjoy the meal we had here.

Looked up and saw this hornets nest in the tree beside us.
I have to say we have had a mixed bunch of meals while away, more bad than good I am afraid.  But will say when they were good, they were really good!!!

Hummingbirds.........

We are lucky enough to get Hummingbirds in our garden.  However they are now migrating south for the winter, so I thought I would share some interesting facts with you :

The smallest living bird, the Bee Hummingbird, weighs a mere 2 grams.

The male hummingbird is more colorful than the female. But the female birds are larger in size.

The heart rate of a hummingbird can vary from 250 to 1,200 beats per minute. But at night, during torpor, it can lower this from 50 to 180 beats per minute.

The maximum flight speed of a hummingbird is 30 miles per hour. But it can reach speeds up to 60 miles per hour during a dive.

Interestingly, the hummingbird flies upright, unlike other birds who fly flat.

The hummingbird can see and hear better than humans, but their sense of smell is non existent. Their taste buds are not that great either. They can only make out what is sweet and what is not.

They are able to see ultraviolet lights.

To satisfy its tremendous hunger, the hummingbird may visit up to a thousand flowers every day.

While it is feeding, this bird can lick up to 15 times per second.

These little birds are very territorial by nature. They can be quite aggressive with other males, or even insects if need be.

Although the hummingbird is the smallest in size, its brain is 4.2% of its body weight, making it the largest proportion among all birds.

The metabolism of this small bird is around a hundred times that of an elephant.

These birds are quite lonesome. They live or migrate alone. In fact, the only time they bond is while reproduction.

The hummingbird has a good memory. They remember all the flowers and places that they have visited, so much so that they return to it the next year too.

Most hummingbirds die in the first year of birth, but overall their average lifespan is 5 years, with the maximum being 12 years.

The hummingbird is probably the only bird whose predator is an insect. Praying mantis feed on them.

Hummingbirds have the most number of feathers per square inch, as compared to any other bird.

They are attracted to the color red. Hence, they are mostly seen feeding on flowers in the shade of crimson.

The largest types of species of hummingbirds are found in Ecuador.

All about Chipmunks

If you look at the front page one of my photos on the header is of a chipmunk.  Love them as they are so cute and funny to watch.  I saw this article and thought it was well worth sharing.

It's originally from the National Wildlife Federation and you can check them out here.

Christmas time, and our thoughts turn to—chipmunks. Yes, it is odd that a hibernating rodent would become associated with Christmas, but that is the miracle of radio and a hit song for Alvin and the Chipmunks back in 1958 (when they were known simply as The Chipmunks).

We’re not here to talk about those chipmunks, though. We’re here to take a look at 10 things you probably don’t know about chipmunks that neither sing nor star in films. Real chipmunks. Ten things.
  1. Chipmunks are basically tiny squirrels (1 to 5 ounces) that have adapted to burrowing. Other members of the squirrel family (Sciuridae) include woodchucks, prairie dogs, various ground squirrels and, of course, tree squirrels.
  2. North America is home to 21 chipmunk species, according to the Smithsonian Institution.
  3. Chipmunks produce one or two litters a year. Young are on their own within eight weeks.
  4. Chipmunks prefer forested areas and can climb trees, shrubs and…birdfeeders.
  5. They eat various types of seeds as well as fungus, helping to spread the mycorrhizal fungi that live around tree roots and are critical to tree survival. Chipmunks also spread the seeds of trees and other plants.
  6. Chipmunks aren’t particularly choosey about what they eat. Along with seeds and fungi they scarf grain, fruit, nuts, insects, worms, bird eggs and even nestling birds and baby mice. They probably don’t hunt for eggs and hatchlings, just eat them when they find them.
  7. They might not sing like Alvin and the boys, but wild chipmunks do vocalize. Kenneth Schmidt, a biologist at Texas Tech University who studies eastern chipmunks, recognizes three chipmunk calls, “the chip, the deeper chuck, and the startle call.” The last is an alarm that warns of impending danger. Chipmunks will even make calls in a chorus composed of several of the little rodents—shades of Alvin. Simon and Theodore. Hear how chipmunks sound.
  8. chipmunk in Massachusetts by Vladimir Mikhaylov an NWF photo contest entrant
An eastern chipmunk in Masschusetts, photographed by Vladimir Mikhaylov, an NWF photo contest entrant, has packed its mouth with leaves for use in lining its nest.
Ground-nesting veeries and ovenbirds, Schmidt recently discovered, avoid setting up house in areas where they hear chipmunk squeaks, thus reducing the risk that the squirrels will eat the birds’ eggs and young. Chipmunks also listen in on the alarm calls of other species, says Lisa Aschemeier, a biologist at Ohio’s Northwest State Community College. She has found that chipmunks respond to the high-pitched alarm whistles of their relative the woodchuck, sometimes seeking cover after a woodchuck warning. Woodchucks, she says, pay less attention to chipmunk alarms, presumably because, at up to 12 pounds, they are so much bigger and need not fear as many predators as chipmunks do.
  9. In autumn, chipmunks gather seeds and other foods for storage as a supply of winter food. Some species keep food in their burrows, which can be more than 10 feet in length.
  10. Alvin and the Chipmunks are now 53 years old. Wild chipmunks, on average, live two to three years; captive specimens have lasted eight.

Bonus Item: Chipmunk Hibernation

Chipmunks hibernate in winter, but they don’t sleep all the way through the season. They retreat to their burrows but wake every few days, raise their body temperatures to normal, feed on stored food rather than fat reserves, and urinate and defecate.

When chipmunks are in the deep sleep phase of hibernation, they may be very difficult to arouse. Their heart rate declines from about 350 beats per minute to perhaps 4. Body temperature may drop from 94 degrees F to whatever the temperature of the burrow—as cold as 40 degrees F.

A new study has found that as winter temperature heats up because of global warming, chipmunks in warmed areas become less likely to hibernate in the coldest months. The research indicates that chipmunks that follow normal hibernation procedures enjoy a survival rate through winter of about 87 percent, while those that remain active because of warm winter weather are almost certain to die by spring. The scientist who made this discovery, Craig Frank of Fordham University, fears that this evidence could suggest dire
results for other hibernating species as climate warms.

Did I get any cleaning done yesterday..........

Yes I did.  Did I get everything done, well of course not, but I did get a number of other little jobs done that no one will notice, only me.  Are the dust bunnies gone; no but there are not as many of them.  I am sure there are still cobwebs lurking around as well but I did win the battle with a few of them.

I did get the window sill and trim in the kitchen stained, plus some touch ups done to cabinet trim as well.  Today the varnish will be brought out and I will spend the rest of the week putting coats of varnish on everything.  At least with the cooler temps all the windows can be open.

Another sign of Fall is the fact the furnace guy is coming today to do our annual service.  Always do it the beginning of September before we have to turn on the furnace.

At the end of July, I did a post about a new store I found called Wild Birds Unlimited, you can read the full post here.  I wanted to update you about what worked for us and what didn't.  The Stackable Bird Feeder (photo below) has been a huge success and lasts for ages.  I will be buying more of those stacks throughout the winter.  They are well worth the money.

The Safflower seed is a bust, the only thing that loves those are the chipmunks.  Not much success either with the bird feeder that sticks to the window, the odd bird will get food buy they are very few.

The Cardinal Alert didn't really work either; Kristen did suggest a plastic drop sheet, the type you put on the floor when painting.

Loved the look of the sky on Tuesday afternoon.

For the sewers out there, I was ready to pull my hair out on Tuesday afternoon sewing the baby blanket.  I was quilting two layers of minky with a light batting in between.  Thread kept snapping.  Finally got it sorted by changing my needle to a jeans needle.  I had forgotten why I hate sewing with minky!!!  Looks good though.  Ideally the binding should be minky, but I think that would put me in an early grave, so cotton material it is.

A rambling sort of post, there might be something of interest in there for you?

Finally some cooler weather, just glorious and now I can sleep better.  Poor dh though was huddled under the covers; I think his blanket will be appearing on the bed shortly though; no doubt Jane's will too, they're twins.  Roll on the weather being a bit cooler in the day as well.

All over the news for us, part of the famous St. Jacobs market burnt to the ground early Monday morning.
You can read more about the story here thanks also to them for the photo.  Anyone in the south west of Ontario this was a great place to go and if you had visitors visiting you would take them there for a day out.  Such a shame, and a lot of people lost their jobs.

Today I MUST clean the house.  I am going to be trapped and eaten by a spider as the cobwebs are getting that thick!!!  I will report back if I actually do clean the house; if you don't hear anything I failed AGAIN!!

Good news the Red Cardinal has finally given up fighting itself in our window; only taken him a couple of months to realize it was his reflection.

Only 13 more weeks until dd has the baby.  Must make a mental note to myself to stop buying the baby clothes.  Our Little Sweetpea is going to have more clothes than she can wear.  This was the latest onesie I bought.  It was only $3 so I couldn't resist.

Haven't heard from Our Little Princess and her family; hope to hear from them this week.

Finally I have started Christmas Shopping, by picking up some stocking stuffers.  Late getting started this year!!

There you go a post about nothing really.

All about the birds (photo heavy)..........

I have mentioned before about the male red cardinal attacking his reflection in our window.  It still hasn't stopped and is driving us crazy, plus it must be hurting him as there is blood on the window now.  So on Sunday we headed to Barrie to Wild Birds Unlimited to see what they stocked.  The Barrie Store is one of the franchise stores and is owned and operated by Steve, Dianne and Kristen Martyn.  Kristen was working on Sunday and was a fountain of information.

The store is laid out so nicely and is bright and airy.
I bought one of theses stackable feeders and it was a pretty good deal at $16 for the food and the feeder.  They would make a great Christmas gift.
Everywhere you looked there was more product all displayed nicely.
The different types of feeders were so different and as Kristen told us, each one had it's pros and con's depending on what type of bird you wanted to attract.
The floral display in the rain boots was a lovely touch.

Even the bag every thing was packed in was really pretty and reusable.  I bought a small bag of Safflower seed to try, as black birds and squirrels don't like it but other birds do, you can read more about it here.
I also decided to sign up for the daily saving club which cost $25 for the year, there is more info here  For joining I also got a small bag of No Mess Blend of bird seed, more about that here, a suet feeder holder and a clip to keep seed fresh, plus an information book, with a 20 % off coupon in it.
Now the reason we went to the store was to try and cure the red cardinal problem.  So I bought the product below called "Cardinal Alert." It's a strip 6 inches by 48 inches and you put it on the bottom of your window on the outside.  I will say the reviews are not that great for the product but anything is worth a try.  I'll let you know how we get on.  As I am typing this on Sunday evening the cardinal and his wife have been by but he didn't attack the window.

We also bought a feeder that you stick on the window; that has a life time guarantee which is good.  Plus we bought some butterfly decals and you can see the Cardinal Alert strip at the bottom of the window.

You can follow Wild Birds Unlimited Barrie store on Facebook; there are all sorts of interesting information on there with some lovely photos of birds.

Am I ever happy?

Well I must admit to being happy with the weather on Wednesday, BUT, it was a little cool first thing in the morning.  I normally sit at the computer eating my breakfast with the window open, but on Wednesday morning, had to close the window as it was getting a bit nippy.

By the way has anyone seen the lady in the image above..........just a hint it's the ironing fairy.  I have no idea where she has disappeared too, but I wish she could come back as I am fed up of having to do all the ironing!!  I wonder if she's a tad fed up as I haven't paid her recently......actually never!!

As I am writing this on Wednesday night the red cardinal is attacking the window again.  This happens multiple times a day and is driving us all crazy.

The smart phone is still a whole lot smarter than me and between me and you the bloody thing is going back on the weekend, as I need one that does things more simply.  Luckily I have a 14 day trial period with this one.

We are trying to sort out some life insurance for when we have paid off our mortgage next month.  We already have some life insurance but we want to top it up.  Its a whole new minefield trying to sort this out.

One piece of advise though get as much permanent life insurance as possible when you are younger, as it's cheaper than when you are older.

I think that's enough whining for one day........now it's your turn!!

Horses and Crows........

Had some crows handing out on Wednesday, guess they thought it was too hot and humid also?
The one on the left was perched there forever just taking in the view.
Went over to talk to the horses.  Zelda wouldn't turn around to say hello at all.  Elle is in the pen as she has thrown a shoe, so she is not allowed to run around.  She is also in "season," and was artificially inseminated and the vet is coming on Friday to do an ultrasound to see if it "took."  They do it at 14 days so if it's twins they can snip one away, as it's both dangerous to the horse and foal carrying twins.  If it hasn't taken I think Heather said they will try once more this year, but then that's it until next year.  So fingers crossed there will be a baby foal in the paddock in 11 months time.
Uti did a least look up when I called his name, but again wasn't fussed about seeing me.  He is looking so well and his coat looks so much better.  I think he's enjoying living with the two girls.  I sound as though I know  lot about horses now don't I?  Heather just answers the seven hundred questions I have when ever I see her!!
I took down the newspaper from the windows as it was like living in a dungeon.  Pleased to say haven't seen the male cardinal since.  Took me forever though to get the scotch tape residue off the windows.  Had to use Goo Gone and then clean all the windows again!!

It's an anniversary of sorts today.  32 years ago dh and I went out on our first date.......to the pub of course, even though I was only seventeen at the time.  I am quite sure I only drank lemonade....wink, wink!

Interesting to say the least............

On Sunday I went out to cut the grass.  Within half an hour I was rushing into the house, stripping of my clothes in the kitchen, shouting and carrying on.  Dh was on the phone with dd and was looking at me in complete amazement at what I was doing.

As he said to dd, "your mother has just ran into the house and stripped off her clothes."

I ran upstairs and got into the shower.  I had scratched myself red raw in some places and no I hadn't been bitten but it turns out I am allergic to the bloody grass.  I went off my allergy pills a week or so ago and I had barely been outside since that time.  However cutting the grass in the field which was long and flying around was "the straw that broke the camels back" as they say.

Suffice to say a trip into town to get allergy pills was in order and no more grass cutting for the day.  I was out yesterday cutting grass with no problem, other than I ran out of gas!  I can cut the grass in a fraction of the time with the new mower, so that's a good thing.

The newspaper on the window is working at keeping the red cardinal away, however it still attacks the patio door every now and then (no newspaper on there); will keep the newspaper up for a few more days.  Also had no birds fly into the picture window yet either which is good, but that doesn't happen every day normally though.

Do I dare hope that I may get my car back this week?  Stay tuned for news on that front!

Have a good day everyone!

View from our window.........there is no view at the moment

We have a male cardinal that keeps seeing itself in the windows and thinks it's another cardinal.  As they are very territorial it keeps attacking it's reflection and it's driving me potty.  So the woman at the bird store in Orangeville suggested I put up newspaper on the outside of the windows for a couple of weeks to see if that stops him.  You have to put it on the outside as he can still see his reflection if you put it on the inside.  I'll let you know how we get on.

Not sure if you can see these, but we also bought some stickers for the large window as the birds are forever flying into them.  Again you have to put them on the outside of the window.

I have also made a start on putting on the orange borders on dd quilt, so it's starting to "pop."  There are still the borders between the rows and the outside border to do.

Just so flipping cute...

I was barbecuing on Thursday night and these two were busy on the ground below feeding.  I know a lot of people hate squirrels but you have to admit they are cute.

Mind you these two pictures show that yes the grass needs cutting and yes its more weeds than grass!!  At least it's green, so that's good.

Some photos and bits and bobs......

As it was stinking hot on Sunday I went down the basement to my sewing room and put together my June block of the month.  It's another Pinwheel variation.  This was all cut on the bias, and I thought the most difficult one yet, not helped by the fact one of the fabrics they provided wasn't enough, so I subbed my own for the rectangle piece.  Not to fond of the colour way but still pleasing to the eye.
Dh decided to treat me to a Tim Hortons coffee; though due to the heat I had a frozen lemonade.  While in town we called in Zehrs where I picked up the three hair dyes, they were on clearance for $2 and I had $4 worth of coupons, so all three only cost me $2.78 and I have enough dye to last me the rest of the year.
We also called in at Sobeys as I had a free product coupon and a $1.50 coupon for the Dempster's Garden Vegetable bread. Personally I think it's an expensive product even when it's on sale at $2.99 a loaf as it's only a small loaf.  However with the coupons I only paid 75 cents a loaf.  I also had a $1 coupon for the sausages, and with cashing in $5 worth of points I only paid $1.96 in total.

Mind you I have managed to spend $288.58 this month with savings of $146.38.  So in theory I only have $11.42 in my budget for the rest of the month.

Not sure if you can see them in this photo but here are four of the baby squirrels.  I couldn't get the other three in the photo.  They are getting more and more adventurous and moving a little further afield.

Couple of good deals this week.

If you have a Rexall store near you they have Swiffer products on sale for $3.99 this week.  Both the dry and wet clothes and the dusters.  If you got your Procter and Gamble coupons, there are $1.50 coupons that you can use.  They have a three day special on Tide laundry detergent for $4.99 and again there were P & G coupons for $2 off.

At No Frills I saw and bought a 500 gram bag of shredded Silani Cheddar Cheese for $3.  I did not see this advertised in the flyer. So check your store as that is a super deal.  I may go back later in the week and get some more, as it freezes no problem.  Also in this weeks paper was the Smart Source insert and there was a $1 coupon of 2 packages of Christie Cookies, and No Frills have them on for 2 packages for $3; with the coupon making them $1 a package.

I picked up the rental car on Saturday, although I am not paying for it.  It's a Ford Fusion and is a very nice car. Still want my Betsy back though and fingers crossed she comes back to me all mended and happy!!

Will be hibernating this week as it's going to be stinking hot and humid.

By the way anyone have any ideas on how to stop a male Cardinal from constantly flyer into our window attacking his reflection?  It's driving me potty!

Rudely awoken at 2:45 am this morning..........

by something being killed and not happy about it, along with a bunch of coyotes happy about catching their supper/breakfast and being VERY vocal about it.  I guess it didn't help that I had one of our bedroom windows open so it made the sound even louder; and it sounded as though they were doing it directly under the window.

Good news on the lawn tractor front I went to Barrie and picked up the parts and dh managed to put it all together again.  Cost $130 for the parts and while I was in the parts depot I met a guy who used to repair Sears lawn tractors for a living, and he informed me that the other side will go as well eventually.  Also told me it's a common thing to go on the tractor and our tractor is much too small for the amount of grass I cut.  So I felt better after talking to him.

Thank goodness dh is so handy as I dread to think how much this repair would have cost if we had, had to take the tractor somewhere.  As it was, the guy at dh's work had to "burn" off the locking nut to get it off.  Also some of you suggested that my dh cut the grass.  He has too many DIY projects to do that I can't do and I enjoy cutting the grass, so if I want the renovations done around the house, then I have to take care of the outside work.

I did manage to get the veggies put in the garden.  Will go out and check them later to see if I have any left.  I also spent a good 3 hours whipper snipper/edging - cutting the grass, and I managed to fit in a couple of hours of cutting the grass.  I must admit that whipper snipping does not do my hands any good at all with the vibrations.  They felt really strange for a couple of hours after I had finished it.  Never mind; I have been wearing my splints on a night, as all the cutting and trimming I was doing with the quilt on the weekend also killed my hands.

Would you believe I am coughing again and coughing up green and chunky (sorry TMI.)  I had stopped my inhalers, but I guess I had better start again.  Has anyone else had Bronchitis and the doctor told you to use inhalers?  How long did you have to use the inhalers for?

Going to spend the day outside cutting grass.  Got Kamikaze hill done last night along with part of the field; only a small part mind you.  So I want to see if I can get the rest done today before it rains.  Reckon I will have about five or six hours worth of grass cutting to do.  Enjoy your Wednesday.

Books I read in September........

Mademoiselle Eiffel by Aimie K. Runyan Claire Eiffel, the beautiful, brilliant eldest daughter of the illustrious architect Gustave Eiffel,...
