For those of you who are not in the know, Coronation Street is a British Soap Opera that is older than I am. It's very British and I know the stories aren't real but devoted Coronation Street fans do get wrapped up in the story lines. I am excited to see Kylie back in the next week or two, as Callum is just getting annoying now.........mind you wouldn't mind waking up beside him in a morning he is very easy on the eyes. He might have an issue though waking up next to me though!
Have a great weekend!

Corrie is our favorite show. I began watching it as a child, when it was still black and white, then introduced my husband once we were married. Our kids grew up watching it and now our grandson watches with us. Technically the 4th generation as our parents also watched the show. We love our Corrie time each night!
hahaha This post SO made me laugh :)) from one corrie fan to another...roll on Kylie coming back :)
I actually have several Rod Stewart LPs, yes the old vinyl which I still play when I am crafting.
I've heard of Coronation Street but not seen it.... love the vid, haven't heard that song in years and always liked it!
I haven't watched "Corrie" in years but I do admit to being addicted to "Emmerdale" on the same channel (in the UK anyway). It used to be called ""Emmerdale Farm" but the farm part was dropped a few years ago now. Rod was at his peak in those days!
I want to check Netflix and youtube to see if either one has Coronation Street...but I don't eve watch soap operas here so don't know why I want to look one up...but I do want to.
Yep, just gotta laugh!!!!
And sometimes drink!
Everyone has a favorite soap opera, while I have never seen Coronation Street, it must be great fun for its fans. My husband, Pat, is addicted to Downtown Abbey, which whike not considered a soap opera still has its devoted watchers.
I know in Canada that series is several months behind the British broadcasts.
I never miss an episode of Corrie, been watching since it was in black and white. Love the stories but not so sure about the huge dramatic ones they seem to have every year now ... fires, tram crashes, disasters, more fires. Stag dos and hen nights usually have some hilarious content. Lloyd being on the ship was funny, going to miss him when he leaves the series to do a new Red Dwarf series.
I've wondered about Coronation Street. Thanks for explaining.
I must be one of the few people who have never seen Coronation Street. I have heard it is very good. British shows are the best!
Callum gets on my nerves - I usually fast forward through his scenes. It's nice that we're not so much behind the Brits anymore. Kylie better be kicking some butt when she comes back or I'll be very disappointed.
He does look as though he's in drag, doesn't he? I stopped watching Coronation Street over 40 years ago. I'm sure I'd catch up if I started watching again.
xx
I was introduced to Coronation Street when I used to stay around my Grandparents. There had to be total silence when it was on as my Grandma was totally addicted to it and now I watch it with my daughter (almost religiously!). I am more of an Eastenders fan, but that may be because I am a Southerner! xx
Thanks for visiting. Have a great weekend.
I have never seen Coronation Street or heard of it. I'll have to watch PBS and see if it comes on in our area.
Blessings,
Betsy
Ah, Rod! I have had a crush on him since I was a teen. Have been to at least 6 concerts and he puts on a great show. That video really took me back!
Huge Corrie Street fan!! And agree Callum is gorgeous!
I do enjoy Coronation Street although I don't watch it every night. The characters seem quite believable!
