January No/Low Spend and Decluttering Challenge

I know it's not January but Carla is inviting us all to participate in the January No/Low Spend and Decluttering challenge.  You can sign up here  I am determined to sort out our old basement once and for all, so will be doing that in January, and our savings has taken a hit over the past couple of months, so need to put money in there.  I'll aim for $200, but would really like $400 to go in there......we'll see though.

I have never heard this version of today's Christmas Song, very pretty:

Maybe you can combine it with the SEALED POT CHALLENGE and put all the money you save in there!

WISHING YOU AND YOUR LOVED ONES A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I too am in Gill. Our attic and desk are the big problems here. Not sure on the savings amount, I'm just going to put back all that I can

I'm looking forward to Carla challenges and I'll be posting mine the day after Christmas on the 26th...Mine is going to be a small project....I too could be tackling my basement....but I start last year on my shed/barn and would like to finish that before I move on to a big project.

Merry Christmas and the coffee is on

Gill,
This seams to be the new wave of 2013 to save and save more.
I'm excited by the challenge ahead of us but I don't think I'll join the club in case of failure to post. As you know I haven't been the best at posting last year and I don't want to put added pressure on myself. I have enough of that at work.
I think Carla's blog site will be flooded with people wanting to join. She is a smart cookie and very talented just like you!
I can't wait till the New year now, but in the mean time I would like to wish you, hubby and your family a very merry Christmas.
Love your post by the way and I'm so glad you decided to return to blogging

since we downsized in November there isn't much to declutter (there is still some though)!!
I really want to start spending more smartly as we move on to the next stage of our lives.

I should sign up to save, because this past year I've not been the best at it--You are certainly an inspiration to do it though!!
