I then went out in the garden and got all sorts of bits and bobs done. I am becoming a pro at trimming . One down side to it all my i-pod died. So hopefully by Wednesday morning it will be charged again. As I plan on spending a few hours in the garden again on Wednesday.
I am two thirds done the field again and it is looking good. I must say I enjoy cutting the grass after supper as it's not as hot, and watching the sun set is lovely.
When the builders were here, I fed them at coffee time in the morning and the afternoon. So of course I sat down and had a coffee with them and got to know them. One of the guys' wife is a buyer for a big giftware company, and to cut a long story I knew someone who worked there. Anyhow, he was telling me how he had been to Vegas with his wife and they had met Marie Osmond, as they are carrying the Marie Osmond line of products.
So I was telling him how I love Marie's line of handbags. Again to cut a long story short, he turned up at the house with the handbag below. Wasn't that nice of him and his wife?
Here is my column this week for the Eden Valley Messenger.
Also here I am again with my weak excuses as to why I haven't been by your blogs............actually there is only one......lack of time, as there are too many other things needing my attention at the moment.
I am so sorry.

I know what you mean about lack of time Gill and I am retired! I try to blog first thing in the morning and visiting you this morning has reminded me that I too have some ironing to do! A x
I'll bet you're the brightest greeter in the bunch! And those Vera Bradley bags would stand out in a crowd. Just don't know if I could afford one large enough to get me to WalMart and back. LOL

More hours would be a good thing. If anybody can get it arranged I bet you'd be the one!
Gill, I am with you. It really stinks being dependable. More people expect more from you. And "No" is not a word I easily come by. Not to mention the things I need to get done for me...and Mike. Sigh. Have a great day!

Heh there friend, guess what? It's snowing here!!! Hugs
Don't feel bad, I've had a lot of weak excuses myself lately. I have a large Vera Bradley bag, and I use to use it to carry items to and from work, now I use it to hold yarn when I'm working on a project. I like small purses, in fact if I have pockets, I don't even carry a purse on short trips.
I'd like to put my order in for a few more hours' each day, too! I haven't even had a chance to do hardly any gardening this year! It's been hit-the-ground running at 7am and non-stop til about 10 pm most nights. I noticed much more white hair around my temples the other day... *sigh*
I'd love a few more hours in the day - maybe i could find a way to do with less sleep and garden in the dark? your yard is looking really lovely.

I know I'm a bit thick....but I didn't know she did a line of handbags....it's lovely! Lucky you.xxx
I think you do very well with your blogging and still find time to work in the garden, do the ironing, cut the grass, and write for the local rag. I love to be busy too.... must be something about people from the UK I think!
Great handbag.... lucky you!
That sure was a nice gesture to bring you this handbag. Thanks so much for your visit and kind comment on my blog today. Nice to know a neighbour just a bit to the north. :)
Actually, you sound very, very organized to me! You fit quite a few activities into your days!
I love the handbag! I'm a bag woman...
What's the deal with Eastenders? Whenever I read a British novel, there is always a mention of Eastenders. It's a TV show, right?
