past the house, from first thing in a morning until past 5 pm Monday through Friday for the foreseeable future.
Now if I were a young boy I am sure I would be quite excited. But as I am not a young boy or even a young girl I am NOT excited!! Infact the dust is driving me crazy again. They are cleaning some large ponds out at the other side of the subdivision. For some strange reason they have to come our way. There is another route, but it passes by the big boss' house.........no idea how long this is going to last for, we are in week two now though.
In the golf carts are the irrigation folk; the people who sort out the sprinklers. Thankfully we have had some rain as although they have tested the sprinkler's they have not been turned on as such.
I have calmed down re: condo board rules and regulations. Not happy about them, but will live with them...........for now!!

Yep, I have discovered I have been finding it harder to hear, especially when there is a lot of back ground noise. So figured I would get a...

Always goings on with the homeowners association isn't there?
We got our own bad news yesterday. The young couple and their little girl who live next door to us, ( for 12 years), are moving. This is very sad for us as we have gotten rather close to them. I even babysit for them quite often.
I hope the big trucks stop for you soon or find another way to go out of the neighborhood.
Blessings,
Betsy
Surely it will end soon. If it went on much longer, maybe some of you and your neighbors could complain to the board and have them do something worthwhile for a change. Make the trucks take the other route.
Typical... the big boss doesn't want those dirty trucks disturbing his lifestyle! You need to come up with a plan to disturb his peace and quiet...
I know trucks hauling ick gets old. I think I am fortunate that we have no HOA rules or regulations yet people still maintain their homes nicely.
How early is early in the morning. I hope you at least get the weekends off. Hopefully it will be over soon xx
I can imagine how you must feel with the truck in the wee morning! Maybe the job will be done soon. I don't think I would like living where there are condo rules!

I'm not sure I could manage there!
Good for you for trying!
My granddaughter loves trucks. I made her a garbage truck video that's had hundreds of view!!!!
Deep breath!
All that dust would drive me nuts, too! Hopefully it ends soon.
Sorry you have to put up with all the noise and dust. No fun. A new subdivision is going in at the end of our road but thankfully they made another road into the area so no trucks go by us.
Yep, would NEVER live somewhere with an HOA. Who needs to be micromanage in their own home??
I can totally sympathize with the dirt. The driveway is about 20-25 feet from the house. You can imagine the amount of dust made by the tractors and all the heavy equipment driving by all day long during spring planting and fall harvest. I basically give up trying to keep dusted, do it once a week and count down till the tractors get parked for another couple months :)
Hope their done soon. At least they have to stop by a reasonable time.
The dust gets everywhere! I remember the first year in our last house was like living on a building site.

YUCK! I hope things calm down and you don't get the convoy every day!
hope it's over soon
Yikes - the house next door to us has been razed and now they are building apartment blocks and it is awful - so I feel your pain!
That is a nuisance. I don't see myself ever living in a place with an HOA.
I hope they are not there for too long.
Crumbs that's awful. I remember what it was like over thirty years ago when we moved in here & had that sort of stuff going past but not all day long.
Hope it stops soon.
It surely must be upsetting to have this continuing annoyance both with the trucks and the condo board. And, of course, reading the other comments that folks would never live anywhere with an HOA. Perhaps things will get better in time, which would help your stress levels, Gill.
I'm hoping these trucks will soon be in your past!
