Went up to Barrie on Sunday, and when we got onto the highway we saw these in front of us:
Managed to get a bit closer, as they were travelling at 120 km, so obviously they were all empty:
Finally caught up with them when they slowed down to turn off the highway:
My dad used to drive a truck delivering brick and stone to building sites, where there is always a porta potty. Have to say he had some really funny stories about porta potties and building sites. They were forever being knocked over or backed into!! The porta potties I see the most of tend to be blue or green so orange was a new one for me.

Gotta love a drive by potty!
Several years ago we had an addition built on our house. There was a bright yellow port-a-potty in my front yard. As if that were not bad enough the company name was Anne's Cans. There was an upside to the whole thing though. Every afternoon the mailman would stop at my house for a little "rest" period.
Orange is a new colour! maybe because they are more noticeable on building sites? It is that time of the year!
Maybe they are Texas Porta Potties -- ours are usually orange.
Me, too, on the blue and green...and mostly green. Cannot think if I have seen orange either.
A company in my area that services special events has pink and blue.
Never seen an orange one before.
Must be orange to make them highly visible so they won't keep getting knocked over on building sites!
xx
We used to camp when I was a child and we had to use the infamous "porta potty". I hated it and the smell. I would much rather see empty ones like on your post. :-)
Blessings,
Betsy
Well I have to admit I have never seen porta potties being delivered, nor have I seen them on a blog!!
We have a couple of outhouses that we built ourselves. We don't use them anymore, but when we were first building this house, before we had a bathroom, we HAD to have something!

I haven't seen them in this colour.
We hired a couple once. I was very impressed that they had sinks with running water!

Yes, it's that time of year! Certainly wouldn't want to collide with a full one!!
Truckin' along the 400!
They may have changed the colors hoping people could see them better. Our highway workers wear orange and a funky green but our prisoners wear orange too. That's kind scary now that I think about it.
Have a blessed evening.
I agree, that color could be so that they are more visible.
Barrie is mentioned in the movie, "The Bridges of Madison County". Not sure if you've seen that movie or not.
Seems a bit fast to be travelling with that load, but I can be quite critical of people driving 20 km over the speed limit with a trailer load. ;)
