weather wise.
We have run the full gamut of wind, snow, rain, freezing rain and sun. December has to have been the snowiest month in a number of years. We have snow coming out of our Ying Yang. Normally it only snows like this starting the end of this month.
So I hunted out the two puzzles I got for Christmas and made them.
The first one was only 500 pieces, and an easy one, so got that done in one afternoon/evening.
This one was 1000 pieces, and a lot harder, so I did this one over a few days.
Both will be donated. I must admit, I do enjoy doing a puzzle. Do you?

Ugh, so relatable with the snow. Out the ying yang for sure.
It's all over Canada this year for sure........
I must live in the banana belt, as I can still see a few blades of grass where people have walked. After saying that, London just a few miles north of me is coping with snow up to the ying yang.
I've certainly had enough snow - but I can honestly say that after the first few flurries fall. I don't do jigsaw puzzles but the RC does. He often has one on the go over the winter months. Many of them come from our laundry room where people leave ones they've done. Buying them is SO expensive these days so it's nice to trade.
I love doing puzzles; all kinds of them. I have a puzzle sitting on the table of my long arm machine - it catches me when I walk by and I must pause there and fit in a piece, or two...or one more....!
Since I don't have space to leave a puzzle laying out, I do the puzzles on Jigsaw Planet. You can choose any puzzle and choose how many pieces you want it to have. If you sign in, you can challenge your time against others . I have not signed in. If you enlarge the puzzle to fill the screen, you don't need to see the annoying ads flashing.
It has been quite the winter so far; I hope the worst is behind us.
These both look like fun but that second one would be a bear! I have three to put together -- I'd better get busy!
We had an advent jigsaw in December and really enjoyed doing a little bit each day, we've already bought another advent one for this Christmas. I do love the idea of a jigsaw but think I might be daunted buy seeing 1000 pieces altogether. Maybe we could give a smaller one a go and see how we get along. Love the one with the houses.
They both look good puzzles.
Our library always has a puzzle on the go so when you go and exchange your books you can sit a while and put a few jigsaw pieces in ... the only problem being you don't always get to see the finished puzzle!
All the best Jan
Harvey is the puzzle person here and at Christmas he got three to work on this winter. Should keep him busy for a very long time. I sometimes add a piece or two.
God bless.
We haven't had much snow yet, maybe a couple inches at a time which quickly melts. I've always wondered if I would like to live where it snowed so much. I think I would like it if I didn't have to travel in it.
We like jigsaw puzzles. My daughter did an advent puzzle where you completed a small square for 24 days that made a big picture when finished. Now we have a 2000 piece puzzle which I' not looking forward to starting. That thing is big.
