... Jane Austen reading month for me.
I picked up this Jane Austen boxed collection on half price at Christmas for $15 which I thought was a good deal.
This is what is in the set:Not sure in what order I should read them?
Is there a right or wrong way in the order they should be read?
I have probably read these books at some point in my life, but I can't remember when? I am a sucker for a historical British romance, so must say I am looking forward to reading these.
I will probably end up donating these to one of the "N's" both are bookworm's. Would you believe Nora turned 12 in November and Nitara turned 13 earlier this month.........where has the time gone too? Both are in Grade 7.......high school is just around the corner!
Are you a Jane Austen fan? When was the last time you read one of her books?

I would start with Persuasion, a delightful story. Try reading some aloud to hear the wit, the perfect phrase, like a dart piercing the character.
Mansfield Park is my favourite, though people see Fanny Price as weak and feeble instead of recognising her determined integrity. Her mean, jealous aunt, Mrs Norris tells her, "Remember, wherever you are, you must be the lowest and last.”
I am ashamed to admit that I don't think I've ever read a Jane Austen book. I really should rectify that!
I would start with her first book 'Sense and Sensibility' then go on to 'Pride and Prejudice' her second one, but whatever order you choose enjoy your reading.
All the best Jan
Nice collection. Even if you read them at one time you will enjoy reading them again.
God bless.
Oh, what a neat reading project for February!

Like Magpie...I have some shame in saying I don't recall reading anything from Jane Austin. Shame on me!
I am a bit of a fan but haven't read her in a bit. This is a great idea!
I have Sense and Sensibility and Pride and Prejudice in a single volume. Been awhile since I've read them.
