WIP means work in progress.
Now for those of you who craft I bet you have some WIP's somewhere waiting to be completed? I know I do, and 2023 is going to be a "Complete as Many WIP's as possible." It is also a use up what you have type of year as well, with crafting supplies. I was looking for some black Aida (cross stitch material) and stumbled upon a few pieces of WIP's and various other things I had forgotten about.
I have the same issue with books. I have a pile of books I want to finish/read and I will not be buying any more until I have read some. By the way I still post regularly in my book review blog here.
With the price of everything going up, this is a good thing to do. Everytime I finish something that was previously started I will make an effort to post about it here.
Here are just some of the things I need to finish:
Dishclothes to knit, book to read, bookmarks to cross stitch and Evan's first year quilt to finish off.
Do you have that problem; lots of things that are not completed?

I not only finished lots of WIP’s. I also used up all my fabric off cuts and scraps and made a
New quilt.
It’s very very satisfying. And yes. It makes room for more craft supplies.

I've cut the fabric for a quilt, but not yet stitched anything together! And we bought paint in the summer for two rooms, which remain a tired shade of magnolia. January will be painting month
There are so many things I need to complete. Gotta get busy!
I need to stop buying books until I get a chance to buy a new bookshelf.
I feel like anything I craft is WIP! lol Must improve that! I love those bookmarks, Gill. Wee girl embroiders and I must get her a pattern like that.
As for the yarn, do you mind sharing the store? It would be great to stock up when costs are lower as I find the price of yarn can be such a barrier!
I don’t have a lot of WIP’s but I definitely have a lot of crafting and sewing supplies. I will be recycling some of those things this month.
Hello, Gill, and thank you for coming over to Marmelade Gypsy! Your visit brought me here and I think I may just have to follow! I love seeing others' WIPs, as I have more than a few of my own. I'm trying rapidly to finish an online painting class before the end of the year (and its projects!)
As for books -- don't start me. I had a rough reading month in November and December but a productive one for the year and will soon get all those posts up!

I’m dreadful at failing even to start the project I buy the materials for but have overcome the same issue with books by borrowing only from the library and for the most part just digital versions. In the meantime I am attacking my paperback collection some of which, to my chagrin, I’ve ended up storing in suitcases whilst I continue to think about those crafting projects.

I have a lot of scraps and pieces of fabric all sizes and colours, not buying any this year, except white or grey to use as corner stone or borders, this will finish some quilts I have patterns for.
Last year I bought a series of collage patterns and inktense paints which I will use.
Two books in house at present to read, a jig saw puzzle to open, put together and frame.
I will not renew my subscription to a quilting magazine, have too many already.
Yep have many unfinished crafts.
I have a bin full of WIP’s… lol! I really should try to turn them into something(s)! I love your HP bookmark, that is so cute!! I just purchased a new cross-stitch pattern to make as a gift, but i’m a little nervous to start as I haven’t cross stitched in forever… eek! We’ll see how it goes!
I'm trying to finish a difficult sweater before moving on to something else. The yoke was all charting and needed my undivided attention. Whew, FINALLY got that done. now on to the boring part.
Book, oh gosh, I think at last count I had 40 on my Kindle!
