Canada.
We were beaten by Switzerland. I think it's the best country in the world, until I have had to shovel snow 7 days in a row, then not so much!!😒

I am a British born, living in Canada since May of 1989. My blog is about all aspects of my daily life.

SO proud to be Canadian!! It really is the best country.
Now we know why the Duke & Duchess have chose to spent part of their time here. :)
Interesting list. It all depends on your likes & dislikes I think.
I remember thinking about emigrating when we were younger but there were too many downsides, the main one was I couldn't leave my family behind.
Also I couldn't live anywhere too hot or too cold, probably due to a thyroid problem. I don't mind a holiday in Italy or Spain but couldn't live there. I loved New Zealand but the tsunami warnings & earthquakes frightened me. Lots of people moan about the UK climate but it suits me.
Also couldn't live anywhere where there is easy access to guns & all police carry them, that scares me. I had never seen a gun until I visited Spain and saw police all carrying guns & I was horrified, still feel the same now. It really naffs me off seeing some police in the UK having to carry them now at airports.
So most of the countries on the list wouldn't siut me even though they are beautiful. We tend to like where we have chosen to live so it's great that you love living in Canada Gill.
I suspect the mere existence of my idiot ex-brother-in-law might have had something to do with dragging down our rating. :)
