I was on the Farrow and Ball site yesterday entering a competition..........I would love to win some of their wall paper!! I came across this Facebook "site" Poppy, Vintage and Stitched Her work is wonderful, and I wanted to share with you all.
I finally got out of the house on Friday as I had to go grocery shopping. While I was in Shelburne I called into a new store that's opened, called Serendipity Antiques and Boutique It's a pretty little store and an old bookcase/dresser caught my eye. If you click on the link you will see it about half way down the page, the mahogany one. Although I like it something is holding me back, and I think it's the style. I don't think it's rustic enough for our house.
One of the owners said in the bio that she worked at Chica Boom in Caledon. I have been in there and there were some nice things. I think I may go back in there to have a look for a nice rug for our family room, as ours has seen better days.

Thanks for the links - I actually like the blue hutch better - natch as it is 3 times the price!
My mother-in-law has a mahogany piece that looks almost identical to that one. I prefer the hutch.
I like either that or the blue hutch...but don't have room for either one...
Fingers crossed you win Gill.
Thanks for all the links Gill, I shall enjoy checking them out.
