I live in an apartment building, 95% of the residents are "of age", so conversations are about weather which causes the aches and pains.
I will say I talk to my dad a lot about the weather and he is "of that age" as well....LOL
I hate small talk so my go-to is to ask questions that invite thinking. Like for example, what do think you were doing this time last year?
