So dh took off his dressing on his leg on Friday and solemnly declared he can no longer be a leg model due to the scars he's going to be left with??? I actually thought it didn't look too bad, he of course thought different. He had a shower and that cheered him up a bit and I let him potter around outside burning weeds off the driveway. All in all that put the morning in for him.
We had to go out in the afternoon and he survived, although he did say he was tired by the time we got home around 7:30 pm. So he has survived another day of being an invalid!!
If you go to the Farrow and Ball website you can order up to 5 wallpaper samples free of charge. they only sent me four of the five I ordered for some reason, but here are my picks.
They are really nice and the photos don't so them justice. They are around 8 " x 12" each. I want to do something creative with them; any ideas?
Do you wallpaper? I haven't in years, and although this is an old house we live in and would suit wallpaper, I am too lazy to do it.
I am a British born, living in Canada since May of 1989. My blog is about all aspects of my daily life.

After having stripped wallpaper many times I have sworn never to have wallpaper in my lifetime again...however I should never had said never. A big pain in the butt to remove once it is there sometimes.
Glad hubby is on the mend but he should still take it slow. I hate to wallpaper!!! It was all over our house when we bought it, took me years to pull it all down. I ended up papering over the kitchen since I couldn't clean off what was in there. I need to change that paper out but again I hate to wall paper!!!!
I HATE WALLPAPER!

Good to hear your hubs is doing well -- make it take it easy, though -- don't want any injury on top of surgery! I used to have wall paper but grew tired of it and then it was just a hassle to remove so we just paint now. Then we went through a period of painting colors which Hubs loved and I grew tired of so now everything is earth tone which is, in a word, boring, but I don't feel the need to un-do it all the time. Your samples are lovely, though -- good choices.
No, I don't wallpaper...I like it but don't like having to deal with it if I find I don't like it any more....remember just a few years ago it was all the rage. Everyone around here had it, or at least had borders.
I love looking at the beautiful patterns of wallpaper but after having to remove wall paper from EVERY room in our circa 100 year old house I could never put up wall paper because I would feel sorry for the person in the future who had to take it off!
I'm not a wallpaper person currently but have been in the past.Nice paper.Farrow and Ball do lovely paint too.
I love wallpaper but it really is a hassle if you want to do something different or if you're thinking of selling a house! Not many Americans wallpaper compared with what I see in England and the choice is usually limited unless you pay through the nose for it.
Lovely choices! I think wallpaper can be great in a room, it just depends on what you do with it! :)
Nice to hear that your husband is getting better. The only thing I can think of for the samples is this. http://www.hoxtonhandmade.com/2010/05/21/tea-table/
