A new to me product....

Have you seen this in your stores?  I saw it a while ago and decided to give it a go.  I rarely use fabric softener, and occasionally I find that the towels have an odour even after I have washed and dried them, so thought I would try this.

My verdict: I love it.  One benefit I have found which I wasn't expecting was that my clothes are drying faster in the dryer.  Prior to using this the towels were taking forever to dry.  It doesn't have an overpowering scent either, which I like, but may just get scent free next time, as I do plan on continuing using this.  I did pick mine up from Wal Mart, but am guessing you can get it at all major stores, and even Amazon.

I have just had a thought though.  I am guessing white vinegar would work as well; then I had a look again on Amazon and saw this:

Do you use this product and if so what did you think?

Not seen anything like that in the UK but no doubt it will be here eventually

I’ve not seen it, but I’m sure they have it at our Walmart too. They have such a big variety in the laundry section. That is wonderful that it uses much less than vinegar. And great about the lower time to dry the towels. You’ll be saving in electricity that way, a win-win in my book.

We don't dare use fabric softener because the Resident Chef has a sensitivity to anything that's scented. The unscented version might be okay but I don't want to tempt fate. We pretty much have to stick to Purex for soap because most of the other popular ones like Tide or Gain are not good for him.

I wouldn't use it as it is scented. And I rarely shop at Wally World unless I am desperate.

it does come as unscented.......

I was always told not to use fabric softener on towels as the chemicals can buildup and make the towels less absorbent when you use them.

I haven't seen this product, but then I haven't really looked for it. I will keep my eyes peeled to see if it is offered here in Saskatchewan.

God bless.

I had never heard of it until just now. I wonder if they'd send out a free sample if I requested it? I do use hot water/vinegar now and then, and no fabric softener, but sometimes my towels are still yucky after washing and I have to do the whole thing again.

Do you remember the tale of Jimmy?

If not re-read this post too remind yourself. Son has a pizza oven in his back yard.  To cut a long and not overly interesting story short, ...
