My goodness, I have never some across one on a roof before.
We have a pair of Canadian Geese that visit Grimmwood from time to time. It seems they love to come around seven in the morning and honk until we wake up!

We have a flock that overwinters on the dam near us. I love watching them in the spring and fall.
