Got the mulch on sale at Home Depot, 4 bags for $10. Never bought black mulch before, it is quite stinky, no idea what they put on it?
All seeded, top dressed and watered, so fingers crossed everything grows.
We have a large expanse of grass on the side of the house, and the previous owners had planted three pinky winky Hydrangeas there. For anyone who cuts their grass you know as well as I do what a pain in the butt it is having to cut round small things like that.
So we took them out and covered the holes with sod and soil and grass seed. I put the hydrangeas on the front lawn, posted them on our subdivision Facebook page for free and they were taken within the hour. Can you see all the lovely yellow flowers we have?
It works great and is simple to use. I am even going to get my 5 year old granddaughter to give it a go next time she is up. Very worth while buying, especially if you hate dandelions like I do!!

Really I don't think they're that bad, not a true weed just a splash of colour. Drink a tea of leaves to reduce any swelling also a diuretic ( pee the bed)
Mind you The Golfer is a bit like you and has the mower out at first sight of the yellow heads!
Much better to mow when there is nothing in the way.
Ha ha, i like your thinking with the weeding :-)
Everything looks beautiful! I cannot believe how fast the dandelions grow! I hope your new tool works!
We had cement edging put in several years ago to help our landscape guys mow more easily and it keeps the weeds from growing out of the flower beds.lol This Year I just have Hostas and dwarf nandina in the beds. I may put in some impatiens but for now it is pretty with the huge hostas. I am going to have to find someone to divide them for me in the fall.
We will have to check in to that
I love dandelions! Our lawn is full. Next it'll be the devil's paint brush. Such spots of colour.
Harvey picked one of those up a couple of years ago. I love it!! Makes digging those things out a breeze.
God bless.
You were certainly busy!
