Nice n' Easy type of day.........

well this type of Nice n' Easy!!
With our big night out looming and with us mixing with all the "well-to-do's" figured I better make an effort!!!  There are a lot of high flying folks that attend this event.  One year I stood and talked to a CEO of something or other, and he went on and on about the bloody value of all the pieces and how he chose his pieces on how much money they would make him in the future.

Me; well I pick what I like regardless of how much money they are or will be!!  And to my mind that's the way it should be.

Back to the hair I have been writing and complaining about my hair I think from day one of this blog, or near enough.  Here is a post back in May of 2008 that has me whining on about my hair.  (sorry about the deleted photos on that old post) Fast forward to April 2015 and I am still whining on about my hair. {SIGH}

Finally updated my grocery total's for this month and I can see me going way over budget now {{SIGH}}  It's because of the over the counter meds I have bought this past week or so.  Just worked out I have spent over $60 on those.  Now granted some will last for a while, but others are already gone.  Oh well some months you win, some months you don't!!

I've thought about colouring my hair again, but really can't be bothered, lol. Really, if people don't like the colour they can slip on some coloured spectacles!

Oh I hate those pretentious types of events.
Try to enjoy it though and good luck.
Are you feeling better ?

I know exactly what you are talking about, I'm never satisfied with my hair, i see other people and think, that's how i want my hair, but mine never turns out like see it in my mind.
My roots are really bad and going to get worse because i'm not having it done until nearer the wedding, 5 weeks away! I was growing my fringe out but gave up on that last week and did it myself!! The hairdresser is going to love me when i go, lol
I must have spent a fortune on hair stuff over the years for my thick coarse hair, sigh.
See you got me at it now, lol

Hope the meds have worked and you feel better.

I don't think we're ever satisfied with our hair! I used to dye mine regularly but it became such a pain to keep up with that I quit. I'm much happier now. (I think :)

For some people, it seems monetary value is the only thing they are concerned about. I'm like you, it should all be about liking it! Good luck with your event, I know you'll look smashing. :)

What style are you going for?

I go and get my hair colored, as it is just too difficult to bend over the tub! I asked my husband if I should let it go grey. His reply? "NO!" So, there ya have it!

I am not a party person but sometimes they are unavoidable. I much prefer a small group of friends to party with. My hair is fast growing gray-ish but not at the point where I want to color my hair yet. I hope you have a good time at the event.

I had my head shaved for a cancer benefit, found out I liked it that way, and kept it that way ever since.

I agree some months you win others you drink your budget and go way over.
My hair is "going blond" on top and I now have to dye it every 4-5 weeks.
Have fun rubbing elbows with the upper crust.

It is a woman thing...the complaining about hair. Mine is awful and nothing to be done about it. The only way it will hold a curl is if it is treated some way...and I hate paying $75 to have it highlighted, and it is that awful stage of going gray that looks bad with a perm...so I just have to accept it.

I am totally with you on getting something I enjoy looking at rather than thinking about how much money it will be worth!

Ah, but you are worth it!

It doesn't seem we're ever happy with our hair does it? I've never colored mine and don't want to start as it seems a never ending cycle.
Hope you're better now!
Blessings,
Betsy

I hope you like your hair after applying the goop. I hope you have fun at the fancy affair, too!

Ahhhhh hair...the bane of our existence! I can honestly say after years of dyeing and haircuts etc that I finally spend "nothing" on my hair. I've let if go grey and cut it myself. Very freeing! I hope you get the artwork that you truly love and enjoy your evening!

I'm not colouring my hair and haven't for years. I just can't be bothered. Say I wants go grey naturally and fore I'm happy. But then again I don't have too many. I may change my mind once I really start to grey lol
