Perfect end to a very busy day.........

We were treated to a lovely sunset on Wednesday night.  I don't remember what the sunrise was like as I was up just after 5am.  Had a bad night and couldn't sleep.  By 8am I had, had my breakfast, showered, laundry washed and hung out, the veggie drawer in the fridge cleaned out and potato salad made for the next couple of days.

At 9am the service guys arrived to service the furnace.  Pleased to say no problems reported and they were very pleased with her.  As soon as I had, had a cup of tea I was out the door to town to run a couple of errands.  By the time I got my shopping put away and a couple of other things done it was lunch time.

Hopped on the tractor after lunch for a couple of hours.  Then had a "break," by doing the ironing.  Had a cup of tea then out again on the tractor for another hour.  Got the field all cut; round by the raspberries cut and by the fruit trees and veggie weed patch.

Thursday the rest of the grass will get cut.  It was also garbage day so filled my green box with weeds from one of the flower beds.  Also got a grocery bag full of garbage from the ditch.  Thank's to  all those folks who couldn't be bothered to take their Tim Hortons cups home!!

As I am writing this on Wednesday night around 8:30 pm, I am pooped, so I am going to call it a night and hope to have a better nights sleep as I have another full day planned for Thursday.

What's your plans for Thursday?

Oh Gill your day sounds a lot like mine cut and pull:) I put the weeds in the field and the cows ate them right up who knew ragweed tasted so good. It is sad no one takes their coffee cups home. Hug B

I feel your pain!! I slept like a log but can hardly move after pullling out the old counter and getting the new one in. Of course all the normal stuff as well. It's grandbaby day for me, they better not be moving to fast today!!

Sounds like an action packed day!
My Wednesday was filled with medical tests until noon....always a JOY!lol
Then home to supervise workmen repairing walls in our home and the trim around our garage door and then supervising the guys who showed up to service our new a/c units. While this was going on I tended to an ailing dog and worked on measuring and photographing a stack of fabric to put on Etsy....then picked tomatoes, beans, eggplant and broccoli from the garden. Today it's more fabric work and making tomatoes into sauce and supervising workmen. At least the weather has cooled off a bit.

Beautimous sunset you have there....

It is the busy time here too, Gill...here at Hissy Fit Acres we can't seem to keep up with the mowing the preserving the planting and now it is cole crop time...but we love it as it seems it keeps us going. My grandmother had a saying, every day above ground is a good one...I've reached the age when I know of what she spoke lol

What a day...you were busy from sunrise to sunset it sounds...hope you did rest better.

I have not did a whole lot this day...vacuumed, ran the mop in the kitchen, and have been quilting. I did have to set my machine up for that and did a little practice sandwich to see how it did before the actual quilt.

I just get totally lost in time when I am quilting and set down there too long.

Have barbecue ribs in the oven, buttered potatoes fixed, and warming leftover vegetables....

When supper is over with, I really need to run to grocery because the 80% hamburger is my favorite and is on sale...usually they have 85% lean, and also chuck roasts on sale. So would like to go till I don't have to go tomorrow...
