On Friday we drove the 8 mile loop of the Gatlinburg's Art's and Crafts Trail. Done it before and it's a good way to spend a few hours. Everything was being decorated for Fall despite the hot weather.
The pumpkins were huge........
Of course there was a quilt store that I HAD to go in. I was very good though and only picked up a couple of zippers.
This was a Christmas store, not that you would think that with all the pumpkins out front. Got the fright of my life though when I walked around a corner in the store and bumped into Santa. Full beard and the outfit. First thing he asked me was had I been good, said I was trying to be, and he said at least you're trying!
This was a beautiful wedding chapel.
We have been in the G.Webb Gallery before and I love his and his daughter Cami's work. The work is still as lovely but I wasn't as tempted this time. I know last time we went back and forth on a piece of original art for ages. This time knowing we don't have the money to spend on it made it easier to visit. Though there was a stunning original piece for $10,000 I would have loved to have!
I bought a couple of things in this place, including a Limited Edition Serigraph by Debbie Littledeer for Our Little Sweetpea and a lovely little birthday card by Andrea Wilson
We also stopped in at Cherry Blossom Enterprises and bought a Cherry-Pit-Pac collar; and just to say it works..........
Have to say I have done my fair share of spending tourist dollars in the area!! I hope you have time to click on the links as my photos don't do any of the places and products any justice.

Great photos! I love Gatlinburg--it is sooo pretty there!
What a fantastic trip! Gorgeous fabrics there which I would struggle to resist.
It's so strange seeing Halloween stuff out in hot weather. We experienced this for the first time ever last September at Disney World. Just weird! Now Santa Claus? Totally off the wall!!!!!!
Hey, is that the Little Log Wedding Chapel? My daughter wants to get married there.....not like it's happening anytime soon tho. lol
Can't wait to see/hear about where you go next!
Hey, we were there at the start of our road trip. So glad you are having a fun time down here.
The bad thing about going to these places is I see so much I love but simply cannot afford to buy! But don't you just love seeing it!
You are in the States! Don't imagine you are heading to Texas by any chance!
