Aww, head down south for some sunshine!!
I;m so sorry! Wish I could make you eel better!
I normally enjoy winter but have not this year. This cold -26C this morning is the topping of the cake. However I will inform you that our maple sap has begun to run late afternoon which means spring is on route.
Going to snowblow all the drifted snow this morning...this afternoon is the dentist...do you feel better now?

You got that right I am so done with winter . Come on spring ! Have a good day !
I haven't been as bad as some years...but still, yes I have them. I am ready to sit outside and have coffee....ready to not have to wear a coat every time I go anywhere...
Well Gill I had it a couple of weeks ago but so far I have been surrounding myself with Mother Nature and she seems to hold it at bay but it is getting very cold out again. SMILE spring is coming. Take care Hug B
Let's go on a cruise some place warm..... NOT! Memories of Carnival Triumph still too fresh. I'm just feeling very impatient that winter is lingering this year. So different from last winter. Tomorrow my friend and I are going to visit a greenhouse to get a dose of "green". :)
I used to get terrible Winter blues, but I did some research and now do a pretty good job of preventing them with Vitamin D and also going out to get some fresh air and natural light even if I really don't feel like it because of the cold. Works like a charm!
With our bad summer last year, we feel that the last 18 months have been non stop winter :(
Yes, I cant wait until it warms up a bit, but having said that the summers we get here can be very chilly and miserable.I'm hoping for wall to wall summer sunshine!
Awww... I'm sorry Jill.
Have you thought about maybe some ultraviolet light?
I "hear" that helps when you get the winter blues.
Much love and have a great weekend friend!

Oh, I'm sending some smiles your way :) And you should take some extra vitamin D. My doctor told me to take it on top of my multivitamins, and it made a huge difference for me!
Come to Vegas--the weather is great! (Note that in the summer I get the oh my God it is too hot summer blues!).
Oh, dear! On the flip side, I am nearly roasted to a crisp, it's been so hot here!
Sounds like you need a dose of sunshine - I never believed that 'winter blues' bizzo but as I have gotten older, I do believe it. We don't have harsh, snow ridden winters but by the end of it, you do feel in the doldrums.
Plan to do something out of the ordinary - dinner out, an overnight stay at a B&B, explore the surrounding countryside then come back home again.
I would gladly send you the heat and take some of the cold away for you. Pretty soon the tables will turn and I'll be complaining about the cold and you will tell me it's way to hot. Lol
