Very different.....
I had a few jobs to do on Tuesday and one of those was to advertise the snow tires with rims from my old car. They are almost new and don't fit my new car. I advertised them on kijiji as it's free, so fingers crossed I sell them, as it's close to $1,000 for ones for my new car.
I took the car to get the oil changed, which was free as the sales guy gave us a coupon for a free oil change when we bought the car. Otherwise it would have cost over $42. Is that expensive, how much do you pay for an oil change?
Another job I had to do was fill in all the nail holes on the window and door frames in the basement. I am going to sand them today. It is a job I absolutely hate doing, but I am determined to get that basement finished!!
I finished machine stitching the baby quilt, so all I had to do is hand stitch the binding on.
I am determined to get all my jobs done on my list regardless this week!!!!
Fab Find has a a little article called Fab Spot every day and this was what it was about on Tuesday:
Adding salt and pepper to your favourite dish is nothing new, but doing it with some magic certainly is. Putting on a sprinkle, a dash, or a pinch just became a lot more interesting with these wand-like shakers. You’ll have your food under a spell in no time. Plus you won’t have those awkward grinders or ugly holders at your table. Your favourite spices will be more charming than that four-eyed fictional wonder boy. Just don’t forget to say abracadabra whenever you shake them. Otherwise all that time spent studying at Hogwarts will just be thrown out the window.
Very cute don't you think?

Definitely cute!
Those lists get us every time don't they? Today it is supposed to be rainy so my list includes some cleaning out in the basement back room. I tend to plop stuff there all summer and then have to spend ages cleaning it up.
Busy busy ... I think I will stick to my Pepper Grinder, as I LOVE a pepper grinder so.
Your to-do list is getting decimated! I don't mind housework too much but I dislike errands such as taking my car in. Mine will be due for its 1st oil change later this month, and I just bought snow tires too!
Oh I pay about the same unless they have a special. Ontario is getting expensive I am thinking if the price of gas keeps creeping up none of us will have to worry about oil changes:) I may have to get a horse but with the drought there is no hay:)
Take care B
I have sold a lot of things on Kijiji, good luck with your tires and rims.
In Aug. my oil was changed and it cost me $29.00, and that was more than the regular price as my Crysler 300 needs a bit more oil than most cars. I did shop around as the dealer I purchased the car from was charging $40.00 plus. Gas here is now $121.9.
Love those salt and pepper shakers.

The price of the oil change sounds about right to me but I DO live in York Region where gas and oil always seem to cost more.
You sound soooooooooooo determined to finish that basement Gill!
Good luck with the tyres. Hope you get a good sale.
Sft x
I should get those shakers for my husband. Lol. :)
My daughter would LOVE those cute as a button shakers! Good luck on getting things marked off your list!
If I bought those Hannah would never stop salting her food!!! But I'd still buy some!!
My husband always changes our oil...I used to do my truck when I had a truck. But he uses the synthetic oil which is supposed to really extend the life of the car...by the time he buys 5 or 6 quarts of it and a filter...we pay about $30...
