Anyhow, ten trailer loads later and it was done. Should have taken a photo before I put in a pile of scrap wood from dd house. They took down the tongue and groove ceiling in their basement. It was all varnished so we don't want to use it on our wood stove.

They are caramel apples. Granny Smith apples, dipped in caramel, then dipped in white chocolate and then into graham cracker crumbs, or if you don't have those digestive biscuits crushed would give the same effect.
She was copying the ones she has had at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.
