Not sure if you remember, but when we came back from vacation, we brought an extra gift back with us; a stomach bug! I posted about it here. Son came down with it the worst and was pretty sick for well over a week. Hubby also had a shorter second bout of it a few days after he finished with the first bout........basically he never got over it.
Fast forward to last Thursday (12th of February) and I felt like death warmed over with a terrible headache. The next day the diarrhea started and the stomach cramps. I pride myself on being a pretty clean person and keeping a clean house, so we were puzzled as to why I came down with this?
I am writing this on the 15th to post on the 16th. Fingers crossed I am hoping to be over the worst, as in no more stomach cramps, but have no idea why this happened. I don't think it would be from the vacation, I could have picked it up while out grocery shopping?
Suffice to say I have not left the house!!! And will probably be staying put until further notice...LOL I had bought a jigsaw puzzle the other day at Costco, so have been busy doing that and reading.

Gill, be very careful and get medical help if symptoms persist. Four years ago, I ended up in hospital for 5 weeks from getting so weak from diarrhea . My husband had to call 911 because I couldn’t even stand up and get out of the tub. I was in isolation because they didn’t know what was causing it. It left me so weak I had to have 16 weeks of at-home rehab and was finally able to climb stairs. My husband never got ill (thank God). We think perhaps it was an unwashed grape I pilfered when we were grocery shopping. Just a cautionary tale. Hope you feel better soon. Hugs, Elaine
I'm so sorry! It does seem odd that you would come down with it after so many days home after your trip. Kind of makes me wonder if it's some other sort of bug you perhaps picked up when you were out and about.

What a lovely puzzle. I am so sorry that you are unwell. It is kind of late to have got it from the holiday, but perhaps you managed to catch it from your husband.
