So I said I would check in with you every 7 days to see how you are doing with collecting things to donate, and I would show you what I had collected.
I am donating three books. Two I have read and one I picked up "The Joke" while on vacation, in the lobby (as someone else had left it and it was the only English book there), as I ran out of books to read and thought if I were desperate enough I could read this one. I was never desperate enough......LOL
We cleaned out our sock and underwear drawers before we went on vacation and hubby had enough socks to last him a life time, so we decided to donate these brand new pairs that he wasn't keen on.
I cleaned out the toy box of all the baby toys, and decided to include this one toy that I got for free using points back in the day. It's a great little toy and the kids all loved playing with it.
So those are my things for this week. I will donate everything at the beginning of March.
How did you get on?

I have four books that were given to me a long time ago, they were not something I would enjoy reading so they are going.
Fabric is expensive so I try and use every piece left over from projects. I have too much, and filled to bags of "smaller than I will ever use" pieces.
Not a lot, but it's a start.
You've reminded me that I should (could?) go through the boxes of unread books beneath our bed. Surely there are some there that we will never read. After the Christmas rush was over in December I went through my sewing room and got rid of a bunch of stuff, including some books. I should have waited until this month!
You did well.
I donated some books.
All the best Jan
I sent 10 books off to World of Books last week, haven't had chance to do any this week with trying to finish off painting.
I’ve done a complete clean out of all my clothes and they have been donated
I don’t think I could collect much as I’ve now pretty much gone through it all.
But I do always have a donate pile when I’m clearing out.
I’m sure given a few months I’ll have something to donate again
Well done! I managed a few books and a couple of crafty bits.
That's the way to do it -- a bit at a time. I loved that you were never so desperate to read the book!
