Son has a pizza oven in his back yard. To cut a long and not overly interesting story short, he had a second one that he sold to his co-worker. His co-worker came over to see son's pizza oven. Son has a specially made cover for his, just like a BBQ cover, he removed the cover, and his co-worker says, "what's that?" And steps back abruptly. Son looks at the pizza oven and see's this:
This one is a lot smaller than the original Jimmy and remember the pest removal guy did say Jimmy wouldn't be coming back.......π How this raccoon had managed to crawl under the cover and then make it's way up into the oven is beyond me.
Now apparently raccoon's have a tendency to poop when frightened. So son and family had to get this one out without frightening it. When it went dark they kept flashing a light into the oven until it got fed up and left. It was covered in soot, as was the pizza oven. Son is now putting it in the garage for the winter, after he has burned all the soot out and cleaned it out.
I told son that when his co-worker said "what's that?"
He should have said, "that's supper!!" π
Told son if he's going to invite us over for pizza, the first thing I am going to ask, is what flavour are you making!!!
Son, does however make really good pizza's in that oven, very tasty.
I swear it's wildlife central over at his house...............

It's Jimmy Junior. A funny story; Jimmy was probably scared and sad to leave his cozy home.
π How funny! When Mom worked at Whirlpool they had a raccoon that would come into the plant and get into their lunch baskets. They had a name for him too. π
What a great story!! Raccoons are cute but they sure can cause some damage.
Hahahahahhhhhaaaa...did not even notice the raccoon at first...hahahaha...loved this.
Kids these days call them Trash Pandas. Rather apt.
We get wildlife on our back patio, usually an opossum or rats (Portland, Oregon seems to have a lot of them, not all of them are of the four-legged variety) and Eric has had nests built inside his grill before, too.
Poor Jimmy Jr. He was just trying to take a nap.
