It is a line dance ? Flash mob? What is Nutbush?
I saw a clip about this dance on TV the other night. The crowd of dancers was HUGE!!
That's just weird. There's more info here https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nutbush_(dance)
What fascinated me was that their shadows fall exactly along the lines of the dancers. The marker posts are clearly set for the right time of day!
Some states have it in their school curriculum. I can't see it happening here in the UK
saw it this morning on t v
Nutbush is a town in Tennessee (I think) and Ike and Tina Turner recorded the song Nutbush City Limits which they are dancing to. Is there a Nutbush in Australia also?
Looks like a type of line dance to me. Will have to look it up on Wikipedia.
God bless.
Never heard of it before but it was very symmetrical and well choreographed. What fun it must have been to be part of the performance!
That was so cool! Hugs,
Nutbush was such a big it back in the day in Australia. Im sure you would find a lot of people of any age getting up and dancing to it at any social gathering. (Not me because I am very uncordinated
That's new to me!
Great! Tina....love her... I thought it has to be that song...never heard of any other. D
