Yes they taste awful but they are good for you. The Buckley's not the McCafe coffee.
I am at the "I want to die," stage now. My throat is so itchy and scratchy and I feel like death warmed over.
What is your go too remedy when you have a head cold?
I'm now off to feel sorry for myself😷

Nyquil....NOT the non-drowsy formula/gel tabs. I want to sleep through the misery.
Seems like all the cough drops that really work, get taken off the market. We use Hall's Breezers and like them, but not near as good as some Robitussim cough drops we used to get. The were square and came in a 'roll' like life savers. Have not been able to get them in years, but they were the best ever.
I boil water with grated ginger, then add lemon juice and honey. It is my go to head and chest remedy and really helps my throat too.
Tea the usual way I like it, but added with honey. A bit of lemon too.
Wishing you a speedy recovery.
I'm lucky I don't often get one. If I do it's whisky, honey, lemon & hot water.
Oops! Forgot to say hope you get better soon!
I always keep as warm as possible in bed. Lots of bed rest. Natural teas, soups. I find it works on me for just about everything. Feel better soon!! I'll send reading material.
Hot tea with crystalized ginger in it. Mucinex DM for the cough. Taking too much meds that dry your head out makes me miserable and dizzy--I try to let that run its course. Plenty of tylenol for pain and fever.
