I am not sure what hurts the most, my back, shoulders or neck. I am so lucky though that after a night's sleep I bounce back and everything seems back to normal; whatever normal may be.
Today I will be putting the place back together. I also ordered three of these lights which should hopefully come today:
I ordered three for the front hall. They are out of Lowes (Canada) and I took advantage of a sale that was on a weekend or two ago. They are not the most expensive but they suit where they are going and fit in with the rest of the décor.
Due to all the decorating nothing much has been done as far as organizing this week. Menu planning has gone by the wayside. Thankfully I have been popping leftover's in the microwave.
I went and got this picture framed at Michael's; again took advantage of a 50% off coupon. We are very happy with how it turned out:
We got the picture from the Drawing For Art function we go to every year, back in 2013. The artist is George Mocanu. It's back to hanging up on the breakfast area of the kitchen. I will get more photos taken of the newly decorated rooms when I get them all back together.

Yep, i have the same now, used to be able to do all the house work then go and do the garden too, now there is no way i could manage all that in one day!
I like the light fitting and the painting :-)
Well done you for getting all the rooms painted so quickly. No wonder you hurt you should slow down a little. Take care.
I feel your pain. I know after a day of subbing at one of our schools I hobble into the house. I guess I can no longer get on the floor with the little ones. Hope you enjoy getting your rooms back together and I can't wait to see the pictures.
God bless.
Can't wait to see the 'after' photos!
I bet your place will look incredible after all this hard work. Painting is a great way to give a home a fresh, new look.
I like that light fixture!
Hopefully by the weekend, it's all done.
I STILL haven't finished my bedroom painting! There is a patch about 3 feet by 8 feet right up at the highest point the wall and ceiling meet. Climbing on and off the ladder seems to have been what set my fibromyalgia into a flare back in the fall. Hope to have it finished before spring when the final coat of paint needs doing.
I like to repaint my house every ten years.
It is always the neck...that kills me when painting. The painting looks good.
Getting old isn't for sissies! I can't do all of the things I did without even thinking about it a do few years ago. Love the lights and the painting. The colors are. Beautiful. I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of the final results of all your hard work.
Blessings,
Betsy
I despise painting and I am very bad at it! I love the painting you framed.
Wow, you are busy Gill! Love your new lights. Looking forward to the photos of the finished rooms.
What a beautiful picture, Gill. I know what you mean about not being able to do as much as you used to. It's sad when we want to do so much more, but our bodies won't cooperate. lol
I'm amazed you can get as much as you done in a day, Gill! Hope the lights arrived today! I very much like the picture you just had framed!
I do love looking at other people's renos! Well done.
I know what you mean. I'm not sure I'll be balancing over the bath painting the bathroom again. I can't reach with ladders. Not sure my balance is what is was!
I like those lamps, very swish!
