A bit of this and a bit of that........

Just seen a hot air balloon go past the house.  Looks kind of fun, if you don't mind heights.......

The morning's are so nice and cool at the moment, just love that.

Dh's hand is on the mend, still wearing the brace at work.

Talking about his work, the factory where he is contracted out to had to call the police in, as someone was growing marijuana plants in the grounds???  No one was arrested!

Dh was up at 2:30 am this morning to go to work........hopefully he'll be home by lunch time......

Our Little Munchkin went on a Thomas the Tank Engine train ride last weekend and had a great time:
This week she also said Nana without someone prompting her to say it!

Got all 9 gnomes done, just making another three now as "spares."

Our Little Man was running a temperature this week, but is fine now.  He'll be one on September 12th.

Our Little Princess has a new name now; "Little Miss Chatterbox," as she never shuts up and is always asking why.......sound familiar!

Going to get the yearly sticker/licence for my car today, as it goes up $10 in September......AGAIN!

Right; better get in the shower as just just after 7:30 am.  Have a great day!

The Munchkin looks totally captivated...glad your hubby is healing. I bet he can't wait.

What is the sticker you are talking about? I am wondering if it is what we used to have in Indiana. We used to have to pay to have our car inspected and to get sticker. Basically saying lights worked, brakes were in working order, etc.

I remember when our grandkids loved Thomas the Train ... ahhh they grow so fast, now it is Lego. We bought out licence sticker awhile ago, and got a two year one so we don't have to pay the increase next year as well. If only pensions went up as much as all the bills do .. oh wait, it went up $1.22 a month or so ago!!!!!!!!!

Glad to hear your DH is getting better. We also spent some time with Thomas the Train last weekend. My kiddos loved it!

Lots of news here today. :-). Miss Piper loves Thomas too and would have loved that ride. I'm also amazed at how fast you made all of the gnomes. Saying Nana. Isn't that just the best word/name in the world? Mine call me Gamma and Dennis is Papa. We adore those names.
Happy weekend.
Blessings,
Betsy

Hi Gill, How is everything with your car? Did you have any further problems with it?

You see time passing with grandchildren. I never noticed it with my children!

Thomas the Tank, that brings back memories, my grandson loved those trains. I remember taking him to the National Railway Museum in York. I bet she loved it.
I've always loved trains though. Now I get to ride some really brilliant ones. My favourite so far has been the Jacobite (Harry Potter's Hogwarts's Express) from Fort William to Mallaig with the West Highland Line a close second.

It's lovely when they start to chatter. They're so funny.
