How to make fruit roll ups....yummy!!
Here is where I am in my knitting, over half way through the yellow ball of yarn, two more to go after that:
Putting together a quilt top for dd that I started, ages, and ages ago. First four rows done, it's a lot brighter in real life. The blocks are a pinwheel variation, that I had done here.
I already have the crochet hooks, so it's not costing me a lot to see if I can do it.
I just posted another book review "Snow Flower and the Secret Fan," by Lisa See if anyone is interested? Great book I gave it a 5 out of 5!!

don't know if it is available in Canada, but Nicki Trench 'cute'n'easy' crochet is BRILLIANT. I am a relative newbie to crochet, and love this book - onstructions so clear, patterns so usable! blessings xx
I love that quilting. You are clever. A lady at work quilts. She goes on quilting weekend workshops which she enjoys.
About the only thing I'm getting crafty with is mask-making, lol. I have a great deal of admiration for those who are crafty, but I'm all thumbs.
love the quilt top and I also love using crocheted dish cloths. sounds like a great book!
your knitting and quilt tops are stunning! super jealous of your talent :) oooh i haven't had fruit roll ups in years! Will have to make some next time there are strawberries on offer :)
I hope you get the hang of crocheting. It's great fun and quick to do.
The knitting is coming along very nicely, and I love the quilt. Knitting is no problem for me, have been doing it for as long as I can remember, however, crochet, forget it, just cannot get the hang of it.

I'm impressed that you've done so much on the blanket!! I like the quilt top very much!
Whenever I see knitting, my mind often goes to the notion of "a cat would love to start pulling on that string."
My mother often enjoyed rug hooking, which is a bit related.
Love that quilt pattern. How patient you must have been to do that!
That space-died yarn will crochet up beautifully. It seems to be more effective than when it's knitted.
Like the quilt.
I love the way you arranged the quilt blocks...I would not have thought to do something like that.
You sure are coming along with the knitting...and if your crochetted dishrags are not perfect, you can still use them!
Beautiful quilting, Gill. I love your talent.
You've been busy. I think I heard you say knitting wouldn't come to you and look at where you are now. I'm sure you'll persevere until you get it. Great job!
As always YouTube is fantastic for leaning to craft including crochet. Sometimes you get videos taking you from the start to finish! go for it. I have faith in you xx
