Winter Freaking Wonderland............I think not!

Not sure about the rest of Canada, but I think I can safely say that if you live in Southern Ontario by now you are probably well and truly fed up of this winter?  I know I am and if I never see anymore snow it won't be a big loss.
I have had to blow out the driveway the last three days in a row.  I am having to dig out the mail box and it is four feet high as the drifts are covering it.  It's bloody cold and the heating is never off.
The poor horses haven't been out in the paddock in weeks as under the snow there is ice and it's much too dangerous for them.
All my skin now is as dry as sandpaper.  Just put body lotion on myself.  One problem with that is you see how long your hair is on your legs.  I am at the braiding stage and it's only the end of January.  I normally don't shave my legs all winter, but may have to give in soon before it's trailing along the ground after me....LOL

Just in case you haven't gathered I HATE WINTER!!!!

We have to opposite problem here, so over this extreme heat. It would be nice to trade a few degrees and we would both be happy lol

Ditto, only my problem is the rain, so depressing and I know I'm not the only one.
Really trying to keep up but sometimes its not easy.

We were suppose to have record cold temps last night. With the wind calculated in it would feel like -37*C, don't know if it got that cold though.
I am fed up with snow and cold too, the wonderland has lost it magic and can go as far as I am concerned. The sun makes it almost bearable today.

I hate it too but we've been very lucky so far. I shouldn't say it though. it's really tempting fate.

I think the only good thing about awful weather is you can hibernate, just drink coffee, watch telly, read & knit without too much guilt! Well I do anyway.

The days are getting longer thankfully & the daffodil shoots are showing. Spring can't come soon enough!

Nice photos Gill!

Braiding stage...LOLOLOL That just cracked me up...though true here, too.

Lets fly south for the next couple months! I am weary of this winter, too.

It's turning into a very long winter for some. I was talking to a man today who came down from up north to get away from the snow. I also see several Ontario license plates down here :)

ROFL your post made me look down and see how long the hair on my legs is (fortunately not at the braiding stage yet!). I feel for everyone who has had to endure such bad weather this winter (I say as I sit out on our deck and enjoy a 60 degree evening)...

Think of all the calories you are burning. Can the horses repel off your leg hair? When it gets to that point I suggest a razor. Sory about your weather, but I would enjoy me some snow!
