After the ice storm

We were lucky as we got a combination of snow and ice.  Our biggest inconvenience was that there was ice on the satellite dish so we couldn't get a lot of tv channels.  For some reason dh wasn't too keen on hauling out the 32 ft ladder to go up on the high roof and knock the ice off...LOL

Been busy today decorating the parlour/dining room.  Will spend a lot of tomorrow putting the room back together.

Lucky old you! You've got enough to contend with without the mess the ice storm chucked at us all!

We had a little ice on the trees, none on the roads or streets, I guess we were very lucky. We did have rain throughout the morning but none in the afternoon. My son lives in Aurora and was without power for most of the day, so Christmas celebrations at his house, with his in-laws family was cancelled...can't eat a raw turkey. Such a shame, but we cannot do anything about the weather.
Have a Merry Christmas Gill, stay safe.
