At work again today.
Ds is doing a lot better, in that he is starting to eat a little bit. Still coughing up a storm and still coughing up phlegm, but he is having longer periods in between coughing. He is still exhausted but is a bit brighter in himself. I have no idea how on earth he is going to manage going to work next week, but no doubt he'll try.
Thanks for all your kind words, they are greatly appreciated.

chicken soup and rest!
and rest much longer than he really wants to!
Being that he is young, maybe he will make some giant leaps in feeling better now that he has started. I at least hope so for his sake...
I hope he has an Rx inhaler to help break up the phlegm. Hubs has this problem every year. Also, please remind ds to drink a LOT of water. It will help thin the phlegm. . . . . . . . . If he doesn't mind a little advise - it's free. So glad he is feeling better! Liz
And straight guaifenesin also helps thin out the junk, but lots of water is absolutely necessary to make it work. We have people down here who cough for months at a time after having this junk.
Glad to hear he is doing better. Hugs
I'm so glad he's feeling better!
I'm glad to hear your son's feeling slightly better. You could try giving him a steam inhaler. That would help. It must be wearing you out looking after him. Sympathies to the pair of you :)
I hope that you don't get ill but you won't. You are the stronger sex.
Good news Gill, Lots of good advice here.
No matter how big they get, they're always our babies aren't they? Hope he's on the mend soon!!
